Amazmaz is a guelta in Mauritania. A remote and beautiful spot, a source of water and life in the middle of the desert. Chances are low that we will ever visit it. But the mere idea reminds us to keep dreaming about distant places.

all your clips are stunnng :-) but sometiems a name to the city for imagine your route would be great ! If I have time, I will do this part of te world with my long T4 syncro with differential lock sometimes too :-)

en hoe was de ervaring met de police in kirgizië?? toen ik er dit jaar reed ben ik vanwege de politie gaan lopen uit dat land het was echt niet te doen 4 keer op een paar 100 km hebben ze me doen betalen en een paar andere motorrijders hadden de zelfde ervaring gemaakt !!

Slechts 1 keer (terecht!) tegengehouden door de politie wegens inhalen waar niet mocht. Toen ze me een abnormaal bedrag wilden doen betalen heb ik hen daar op gewezen en geweigerd te betalen. Een klein mondje Russisch maakt dan wel indruk. Ik mocht gewoon doorrijden.
