When it says "4.9 tons Ready to go", does it mean that you still have 600 kg available for food, clothing, and other items? Or do you mean that everything is already included in the 4.9 tonnes?

It's the weight of an empty truck but with fuel and water tanks filled. So, indeed 600 kg left for food, clothing, and other items.

Hi Graziano, thanks for your nice comment! The truck weighs appr. 4,9 tons ready to go = with all reservoirs filled (200L of water and 250L of diesel)

Interesting layout. What are your thoughts on a folding roof that is hinged at the back and tilts at the front? Did you choose based on the kitchen location? Also, your thoughts on a roof that rises equally off all corners (straight up)? All with soft sides. Thanks

In our lay-out, the entrance to the roof just above the kitchen leaves more headspace at that particular spot and allows for a roof window that acts as a chimney while cooking. I'm afraid that a roof that tilts at the front increases the risk of leakages where the roof touches its floor as a result of headwind pressure while driving. In our case, a roof that tilts off all corners wouldn't make much sense, as there is no need for creating more headspace in the cabin itself.

Again nice landscape. Would you be able to drive the tracks also with higher camper? By the way, how do find this nice tracks?

The Sinjajevina track is possible with a high camper. Most other tracks in Montegro are rather narrow. As you will see in some of the next videos, even for our truck is was sometimes a challenge. In any case, You have to mentally come to terms with the fact that your car will get a lot of scratches. Not tens, but thousands of scratches... As for finding the tracks: this is part of the adventure ;-) but e.g. Wikiloc can help you

Hi Phil, thanks for your comment. This layout rather combines a huge bed below and above with a comfortable seating area where you can stretch your legs during the day, while still keeping the dimensions of the overall cabin compact. Disadvantage: the lower bed has to be made up every day, unless the weather is good enough to sleep on the roof. Best wishes, Hans
