We are getting into the inspection on this vintage mc8 bus rv conversion. It’s a beau rv now with the raised roof and slide out but it’s in need of some maintenance. Several electrical problems are existing, lots of air leaks, the suspension is leaking air, and a few other problems are popping up.

That is a beautiful rig inside for sure. You guys are so great at finding and fixing air leaks..so many connections. As for that poor 15 amp fuse that went into nuclear meltdown...wow!!! It's very fortunate that there wasn't any kind of electrical fire. The owner is very fortunate to have you guys doing the work...ya never let bad stuff roll away. A great video as always Scott:-)

G'day Scott, Awesome looking bus. I could easily live in that the interior looks very classy. I understand sometimes it's not appropriate sharing the inside of a customers bus, but when you do it's always great viewing. So thanks for sharing ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

As like many other cool buses which come to you, the top is shiny and beautiful but underneath the faults are usually many and are well hidden. The bus community are very lucky to find someone like you to look after their conversions. Looking forward to seeing you back in Lenny on the road again as before. Miss the driving clips.

This particular coach is nowhere near as bad off as some others he's had in the barn. That said, it's still a 45 y/o running gear when all is said and done, so there will always be *something* that needs to be tended too. I too miss seeing Scott and Kelley traveling to interesting points all over the nation.

Love the cabinets! I wonder if it was done at an RV Cabinet Shop. Not so sure about wood grain cabs anymore. Everyone seems to be revitalizing with white, smooth, melamine cabs. kinda plain, but white is easy to clean and brightens up the coach a lot with the reflectivity of the white. I'm a paperback book guy. Coffee, comfy chair and a paperback to read and I'm good. I took the direct Tv dish off the coach. Broadband is the way. Verizon or whatever to get the news and KZbin. I don't do cable provider garbage anymore. Pay rediculous money and still have to watch commercials. All done with that.

@@BusGreaseMonkey I meant to say buy later. I'd just think every individual would have you inspect first if at all practical, and if not, that all worst case scenario for that which was uninspected would be factored into a price discount. I realize not doing that is more business for you.. but.. maybe not, as if the inspect is compete, hey, you will do your usual amazing job of repair afterwards, but then with eyes wide open and no Hey Lance moments, or none you would have not already known. Harbor Freight recalled them because they are subject to US law, but there are tons of fuse kits sold by mystery Chinese sellers on Amazon or eBay that are exactly the same. They use stamped steel or other low cost metals as the fuse element and they have high resistance and don't blow when they should. They just melt the fuse holder and everything slowly. That replacement fuse holder with the clear red jacket wire is also junk. They are almost always copper clad aluminum wire. (as is most wire sold in the same places) At this point only Littelfuse or Cooper/Bussman fuses and holders are really trustworthy.

Got a glimpse of a cannon connector in that wireing bay. I cannot count the times I taken them apart and found problems. Bent or corroded pins from water getting in. Broken wires on the back of a pin. I found one in my coach that was never seated right. It worked for 18 years till water got into it one day.

Side trip for him from Titusville Fl, then on to Alaska mining ⛏ places. He came back thru Colorado at a KOA. We put parts on for AC. Then vacuum all the luggage bays. Was dry camp for a month. The shower was big enough I could be in shower with his daughter 🤫🤭😎🤷‍♂️😏
