I thought it was only me who has to figure out the magic foundation and powder techniques to make different parts of my face look similar to how I want. I have combo skin w/ oily T zone and I tried the Yummy Skin Tint...I loved it. I was SHOCKED. It didn't make me look oily, even on hot and humid Georgia summer days. I set it with translucent setting powder and it just looked like skin. Not too "radiant" after powder, butnot matte. Just natural looking. I thought I was going to be a grease ball by the end of the day and was pleasantly surprised.

I'm surprised you guys don't fly with delta. They're my favorites to fly with. They have decent leg room in regular economy class. And if you're tall, I would pay the little extra to pick your seats to sit in the emergency exit rows. You get loads more space to spread out!

I agree with y’all about the elf putty primers. I also tried the putty eye primer and it was SOOO DRY I found it hard to get onto my lids. I now use the elf hydrating primer mist and LOVE IT. Also, Kevin’s wheezing laugh just makes my day. I can’t help but crack up every time I hear him laugh. 😂😂

Part of the thing with United’s monopoly in Newark is that it’s one of their hubs (same with Ohare and Denver). SLC is Delta’s home airport, which is why it’s easier to get flights through there and why their service from there is usually top notch. Being both tall and a bigger person, 100% get the resentment about flying anymore and being more or less forced to pay more simply to exist on a plane. Also the overhead bin thing. Just check the damn bag, you know it isn’t gonna fit. ETA: my understanding is that the pike in “coming round the pike” Is for turnpike. Like it’s coming down the road. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I too have enormous pores and agree that the Elf poreless putty primer is trash at smoothing out my texture. It does nothing for me at all. The only primer I’ve ever found that did anything for smoothing me out was the L’Oreal Magic Perfecting Base and that’s been sadly discontinued. It’s incredibly silicone-y though so it probably wasn’t for everyone. It was something that made my skin just look instantly better and I sometimes wear it all of its own.

As someone born and raised in LA while I know it's annoying that you can't doordash in-n-out I can 100% understand why they don't allow it. If you've never been to in-n-out during peak hours (which is probably also when people would be ordering doordash) it gets so crowded in both the drive thru and inside that if they had to fulfill online orders along with the on-site ones they would be way over capacity and wait times would be twice as long. in-n-out is way too popular with too few locations to sustain online ordering and maintain their quality. Sucks when I'm craving animal fries and don't want to leave my apartment though 😔
