its not all its cracked up to be. people dont care about your inside if they find your outside pretty enough. they just use you for clout and put you up on a pedestal. some just hate you because they make the assumption that you feel that you are better than them or that you feel youre all that. if you are popular because of looks then you have a hard time finding genuine friends. girl or guy you get harassed a lot, approached a lot by strangers and judged if you are not interested in them. people think you are shallow for not wanting to give them (a complete stranger you know nothing about) your contact info. they want to date you because you are beautiful but then say you are the shallow one when you dont like them (even though they know nothing about you on the inside so basically decide they like you based on appearance). also very lonely even though you are surrounded by tons of people and get tons of likes. its like they are all just faces and you are not actually connected with anyone. but you press on an keep smiling. because its all you have and how you base your worth. yes there are lots benefits to being "pretty" but if you dont have supportive and genuine people around you and people who are willing to shake you into reality its really easy to fall off the deep end. from experience im not gonna lie being pretty got me some things and made me happy for a while but it also got me in a lot of trouble, especially with asshole guys who think they are entitled to pretty women.

Whoa! She probably got in such a terrible god forsaken accident with fire and the multiple burns which explains those scars and the way her face looked afterwards. I remember in Standard Four in 2014 when a student accidentally threw a rock and it hit my head. Bleeding and everything but I didn't get stitches.. The boy who did it remained quiet for a good three years until Form two. Everyone thought it was another boy since he was closer to me as another of my classmates whi was closer by pointed out but it wasn't him as I later found out. That ruined a great friendship. When I found out three years later, I immediately found and apologised to him but pertaining to this, I reminisce when the doctor shaved off a piece of my hair where the cut/scar was made and bandaging up. People saw and pointed it out sometimes but very rarely. It wasn't even NEAR to anywhere what this girl was facing. Her entire face and hand was burnt. They should make a part two where the depression still kinda kicks in and she contemplates you know what, suicide. That jogger guy, the one who was writing in the diary while simultaneously narrating the story should be there for her and endeavour in trying to help and save her if she feels so lonely and ostracised and wants to end it all. Oh wait, she couldve pulled back slightly (maybe she got a small ocker on her lios) from the kiss but he then holds her hand preventing her from running away and from there he tries to help her recover both physically and mentally... probably. It was the moment that she turned and slowly stared up at him though. That small scene was done very well and was very impactful. Anyway, great work either way. Continue it up.
