I love jasmine. I have very similar memories associated with jasmine, my home, and my family. Strangely enough, I do not have a perfume with a dominant note of jasmine in my small collection. I will definitely check out your suggestions. I am especially intrigued by Jasmine Oud.

i absolutely enjoy and appreciate your focus on any given note. with jasmine, my go-to perfume is always "Jardin Nocturne" by Shalini - a gorgeous duet of agarwood and indolic jasmine.

Shalini is a brand I need to invest in. I have heard NOTHING but amazing things! Have you tried their Iris?

@@BeautyMeow sorry, i haven't sampled their iris. the only Shalini i've sampled is this "Jardin Nocturne" that i own - but the good news is that, although Shalini is expensive, they do have very affordable spray-bottles starting as small as 7.5ml.

Thank you for doing this video! Right now I am kind of obsessing over Jasmine...I am actually sensitive to indolic fragrances but I am finding there are so many great jasmine fragrances out there that are done in a way that smells amazing and tones down the indolic quality of this note! A few that I can recommend that I am sure you are aware of are: BDK Wood Jasmine (no one talks about the similarities between this one and midnight jasmine which I also adore), Fox in the Flowerbed Imaginary Authors, Alien Essence Absolu, Serge Lutens La Religieuse and Armani Rouge Malachite...I think Jasmine is such a perfect warm weather scent - So, I will be wearing the crap out of these over the summer! xoxo

One of my all time favorite jasmine fragrances is Love's Musky Jasmin! Once a cheapy perfume you could buy at CVS for under $10.00, it was discontinued long ago (I believe 1993 or so). I ended up scoring one on E-bay for around $100 - an old drug store was selling it that had stored it in the back still in its original box! It smelled as good as I remember and hadn't spoiled. I own two that you mentioned in your video - Serge Lutens and Maison Lancome. My eyes roll back in my head when I sniff Jasmins Marzipane. The jasmine/almond combo makes me swoon. I really enjoyed this video and your other on jasmine fragrances. It is my favorite floral note!!! You may enjoy Don't Cry For Me by ALTAIA - another gorgeous jasmine centered floral. I have it on my "to buy a full bottle" list after sampling it.

My current fav Jasmine would be Shalini's Jardin Nocturne, Serge Lutens's Sarrasins and StrangeLove NYC Lost In Flowers... Might want to try Libertine's Sex & Jasmine with few others from your list.. Love the video!!

I was going to do one of those online fragrances where you can combine notes. I was thinking dried Birch, fern, Jasmine and Ginger. I'm hoping they can make it at least a unisex fragrance if not masculine. Or it could smell horrible I don't know LOL

Have you gotten your nose on the fragrances from Rogue Perfumery? He’s got several beautiful white floral fragrances (Jasmin Antique, Tuberose & Moss, and Champs Lunaires) that I think you would really appreciate. I highly recommend the sample set. (I was also blown away by Derviche, but that has nothing to do with Jasmin lol.)
