I disagree with that nutritionist. Spoonfuls of refined sugar in water is not the same as sugar from fruit. It’s not as dense and you get a ton of nutrients. Fruit is good for you. Of course too much of anything isn’t good for you. And of course eat ur veggies like she said.
@oliviaspring96908 ай бұрын
Yep, sugar in fruit is attached to fiber. You easily see the difference between glucose levels when you have pure sugar vs fruit. On top of that fruits are full of micronutrients that are very necessary. Although it seems like in the clip, she’s talking about fruit juice, which does not carry the same benefits that a whole fruit does.

Sugar is beneficial for bedsore and certain wounds.
@Moonchild05178 ай бұрын
Just eat it as nature give it to us. So an orange is better than just the pressed juice. Berries are amazing, and so are the old types of apples not pink lady🙄 I never buy seedless watermelons or grapes, they are not natural and have much more sugar than normal watermelons or grapes.
@lauralinares41258 ай бұрын
Yes it has the same effect. Same as honey or maple syrup. The blood spikes are the same. What she explained in the full interview is that fruit is good to have in small portions after a well balanced meal (protein, fibre and carbs)
@oliviaspring96908 ай бұрын
@@lauralinares4125 maple sugar and honey are not the same things as fruit. Maple sugar and honey are literally straight sugar, they don’t have the same fiber or micronutrient content. The fiber content in fruits significantly reduces the speed at which the sugar is absorbed, meaning it does not cause the same blood sugar spike as straight sugar. You also get significantly less sugar fruit from fruit than candy. You would have to eat a lot more fruit, by weight, to get the same sugar that is in a candy bar.

I guess the first thing to start with to get back in life and get a healthy life is to start exercising regularly for at least 20 mins a day , 3 litres of water a day and 6 hours of sleep. Also I love doing skin care so that’s gonna be there. Hehe. Hopefully I turn it into a habit and let’s do ittttt !!

Correction: Dynamic wrinkles are the ones you make when you react and move your facial muscles and the static wrinkles are the results of these repetitive movements, these static wrinkles are visible and stays and etched permanently on the surface of your skin even if you’re not reacting or moving your facial muscles 😅

I love gel moisturizers... but only for summer and daytime now. I'm 35, going on 36 this fall AND I started using .05% tretinoin, so I have found my moisturization needs ramp up. I used to be so oily - not as much anymore! Now I'm probably more combination. So, gel creams have been relegated to daytime only, summer only. I can now get away with using thick creams at night. I never in my life thought I'd see the day. 😅 Everyone in my family, myself included, has been an oil-slick well into their middle age, so we age pretty well. Finally something good from being acne-prone.... So anyway, for very young people here watching - Fel is right. You will change and that's okay!

The sugar in fruits is totally different than the sugar found in junk foods. Since I cut out all junk food with sugar and started eating much more fruit, my skin has looked totally different. I ran into an old friend recently, who told me I looked the same as years ago. Fruit is wonderful for you!

I liked how genetic engineer Alexander Panchin said about all this hucks improving the quality of life: “you can lead a healthy lifestyle, do sports, refuse bad habits and go on a diet. Perhaps by doing this you will extend your life by 10 years (mainly because you quit smoking), but in general, none of this will prolong your life, only genetic engineering will prolong it, so you shouldn’t bother too much and limit yourself.”

So, my question is, when do you put on the moisturizing mask? I mean you have to wash it off and stuff, so I'm just curious WHEN in the steps do you put it on? There's the cleansing, retinol, moisturizer, blah blah blah. So it's just confusing if you put the moisturizing mask on after cleansing and THEN retinol or if you put the moisturizing mask on last, but that doesn't make sense, since you'd just be washing off everything else. What do you do?

The nutritionist is talking about orange juice. If you watch the entire video she explains that it is far healthier to eat the fruit as it is than to make juice with them. BTW she also said in another video that drinking a glass of water with a sponfull of vinegar before meals can help to control the sugar spikes and that those vitamin gummies are not good cause the sugar content. She’s got very interesting content 😊. Glucose revolution
@auroras.20158 ай бұрын
Jessie Inchauspé also sells a supplement to suppress glucose spikes. I would be careful believing anything she says. She uses data from diabetic patients, which you can't just use as prove how a healthy person should eat.
@BeautyWithin8 ай бұрын
she definitely does have interesting points, and also presents them well! Like with most things health, it's so personal, and the reason why it reasonated with me was because she also tells people although sugar not great, she also doesn't villainize sweet things, like from fruits etc. And to @auroras.2015 point, I'm not familiar with supplements would personally tend to opt for controlling my glucose spikes naturally from adjusting my diet and trial and error, but perhaps it's a good starting place for some people to see effects, and be encouraged to take more control later. thanks for sharing your thoughts guys!! - fel x

While there are plenty of great nutritionists, it's not a regulated term. Please do not take dietary advice from someone who is not a medical professional. And anyone who tells you to cut out entire food groups, like fruit, is someone whose advice should be taken with a grain of salt.
@BeautyWithin8 ай бұрын
yess definitely agree with you that we should take everything with a grain of salt, seeing as our bodies and lifestyles are all so unique and different! As for that clip that we showed, she actually does go on to discuss fruits are infinitely better than white processed sugars (like the ones added to fruit juices), and that there are differences in sugars, even if our bodies still only recognize them as glucose. So we definitely want to continue opening up the convo and presenting more information to hopefully allow people to make their own informed decisions. Great point you raised, so thank you for sharing!! - fel x
