Love this lady! She put together all the facts that I already strongly believe in and see working for me so well. And it make so much sense. Great reminder to be more thoughtful about everything we put in our body, especially before all Christmas dinners 😅

So interesting to know that fasting doesn’t help as much as it does for men, I have been trying to fast since forever. Thank you for the info!

I've been on the contraceptive pill for years so I've not had a natural period for as long as I can remember, but interesting to know about healthy foods for skin in general. I avoid sugar, dairy and carbs which has helped my health a lot.

Cutting out or replacing dairy/milk products (other than very few things like hard cheeses and goats milk) has seriously saved my very hormonal acne prone skin! I was such a non-believer for years but i’m absolutely aware now in how dairy makes my skin break out. Especially soft serve from fast food places… lol i experimented so much with my skin but yeah, now that there are many amazing milk replacements even available in cafes and in ice cream (looking at you oatmilk and cashew milk!) I have very little problem with my acne, only once a month do I break out and im pretty sure thats always going to happen till I hit menopause

Thank you so much for this video! I have pcos and I have been struggling with pain and cramps since forever, I feel. It is so comforting to receive some suggestions! I feel less alone. Ps: I totally agree with your guest when she says she is not willing to go out and party all night long, as when she was 20. Me too! 😅

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I just need to comment if anyone might see this. I also get really big cheese cravings 1-2 weeks before my period and have had really bad PMS for years now where nothing has worked really. Usually I just have a few slices of cheese on my sandwich or a few chili cheeses here and there for dinner, but not any big ammounts. I while ago I decided to lean into it and ended up consuming 100g of brie a day during a couple of days, and guess what? PMS-symtoms almost gone. 😅 Now I take calcium supplements and ashwaghanda daily during those weeks and I can finally live again. PMS (and low calcium intake) is no joke 🙈 Edit: of course you should always talk to your doctor, but this isn't something >my< doctors have told me and I had to google it myself 🤷♀️

Thank you for sharing this topic. Also, where can we get the black sugar ginseng tea extract ? I've been searching a lot for it, but I can't find it.
@BeautyWithin2 жыл бұрын
Hey lovely! The black sugar ginger tea featured is from Damizle! Fel says she got it from Hmart, but if you don't have the particular brand near you, you can try making it from scratch or grab any other black sugar ginger teas!

I agree with most of the things she said however, you should also be very careful about the eggs you get just like dairy products. There is a lot going on in the chicken industry so please make sure your eggs are organic and free range. Because otherwise they can be hormone distrupters ❤
