Hello, Beavers made this dam, I guess the highest I ever met. The difference between water and bottom was 1.5 meter. Material of the dam was kind of dead grasses. Remove it was not so hard ;) I enjoyed myself :)

I always find it amazing how everyone tells somebody else how to do something. But we're just watching a video we're not out there doing the actual work or with them. That water is cold and Swift and dangerous. He's showing us what he has to do on a regular basis to keep his property from being consumed by water from the beavers. It's putting himself in danger and all for our entertainment. Kind words and encouragement are better than instructions.

I thank you for the farmers that may not have. My grandpa was a farmer/iron worker, if he can see you now I'm sure he's proud of you. 👍😃 I believe some of that grass is taller than you. And from my figures you're about 6 ft. That's some tall grass. It has to be hard to work with. Thank you. It was a great water release. Will it all freeze soon? Stay warm and don't be too brave when it's too cold. ❤😉👍👍👍🌟😊😃

The people have really appreciated seeing this removal of the beaver dam. It is always good for us to hear and see the water level drop down to its right position. It was obvious to us how eager the water was to leave its position behind the dam as the water level had dropped so quickly. You were certainly very fast at clearing this dam away.

I wondered that too. I never see them telling Post 10 what to do or any of the other people out there. And post 10 has been very wrong on some of his instructions and the things that he says to do. I remember one time he made the comment that beavers are usually afraid of people he knows they're not that out of his mouth and the Beaver tried to attack him. Beavers are not intimidated by people and it has been proven over and over again if they will reuse old material.

You do such a good job with these, and it does look like fun to do, however this old lady doesn't like cold and where you live should be fairly getting on to winter. Be safe and careful not to get over cold, hypothermia is very serious, and yes I know you are young and tough but it can sneak up on you quickly. Take care. and keep up the good work. Remember the beavers are just trying to survive just as we are the best way they know how.

I was actually surprised to see how big this dam was seeing logs standing up holding the dam was amazing and shocking. Amazing what beavers can do with mud and grass and how fast they can do it. I always find it shocking to see how they get them up so high and so quickly. This is a great video I really enjoyed it I couldn't stop watching. That water was moving so fast and drained so quickly it was crazy. Keep safe Mantis and keep up the great work I really enjoy your videos.

1. You broke Niagara Falls. 2. Downstream almost became higher than upstream, and I thought the water flow would reverse direction!

VERY impressive and effective home made pitch fork (?) or rake (?)

Why dont you weaken the back base side of the dam first so the Flow wil Fluch the rest of the dam away ?

🇳🇱The Dutch are very good at building dikes but in nature beavers are the best dike builders there is and people try to counter them by breaking down the dikes again and the beaver continues to build Greetings from the Netherlands and good luck with the beaver breaking down built dikes.👍👍👍👍👍🍀
