Thats so neat. I had a friend in High School that got pinned with the nickname Beaver. In Junior year he bought a 1971 Dodge Dart. This kind of feels like a cartoony whimsical version of him.

I just left this comment under your owl box video, but wanted to make sure you saw it so I I figured I’d put it under todays video too. I tried to find you on Facebook to send you a picture, but I made a box based on this one today. My area has seen a lot of hedge rows getting cut down, so owls have been looking for new homes. Lots of them near roads, and I actually hit one with my car a while back. I have also noticed that I’ve been hearing them in town a lot more these last few years, so I decided to put up a box for one. Hopefully this will keep at least one out of someone’s windshield. I’m probably too late this year, but maybe next year I’ll get an owl neighbor. Thanks for the tutorial.

Doug if only we had been aligned in my youth. I grew up right down the street from where the Soap Box Derby was run. With this as the prototype the greatest entry of all time could have been engineered. I think an acorn hood ornament could give it that Roll Royce feel. Lol Great job as always 👏 👍

Not only does great characters but also has a great character himself and even better motivating skills to inspire others. Like yourself,.I don't encourage people to buy , buy and yesterday I brought under $20 a set of 8 pieces of carving gourges that as a BlackSmith Hobbyist. I plan to copy their shapes but using 01 steel and should get a set far cheaper than most tools priced 10 plus times more than the average on the market. I'm encouraging people who have BlackSmith skills or know a BlackSmith saying might give a BlackSmith a job in this hard period of time. Sir, your motivation is spreading Big thanks ,I'm learning about carving and planning to use this skill, building my family some furniture as woodworkiny and also a great hobby . So many THANKS

OMG I love it! by the way I had to stop carving for now. I developed a “trigger finger” in my right ring finger. Excruciating pain! Attributed to carving too much according to my doctor anyway. It’s killing me that I can’t carve keeping in mind that I am 72 and retired. You never stop amazing me with your ideas and talent.

Maybe try to devise some sort of holder to help support your work so you don't have to hold it quite so tightly? Oh no! I've just seen it's your right hand and I presume you're right handed, that's a bummer. Try this then.. From my recent experience I've discovered drinking two litres of water every day really helps. Sounds mad but a litre after a meal in the middle of the day and a litre in the evening a suitable time before you go to bed if you know what I'm saying (!) this on top of whatever else you drink during the day is so good for connective tissue problems. Anythings worth a try, right? Combined with some gentle stretching exercises it might help over time. Good luck, I hope it sorts itself out. 🙏👍
