before you say a thing... that tree is slated for a major trimming as it was infringing on sidewalk walking height etc just in case you are getting ready to type something nasty lol

You are a superstar Doug. Creative, great plot, not a word said but a thousands ideas were shared. Inspired me to carve some little toggles for the ropes I am using to stretch a tarp. Looks better than some conglomeration of knots. Great work my friend.

Thanks for a gift idea. My wife and I decided this year for Christmas we're going homemade with gifts. I had no clue what I could make for the guys. I even told my wife I'm going to keep an eye your videos because you always come up with something. Lo and behold the bag clip. There are a couple of chip eaters in my family,. It may not be the most exciting gift they ever got but I bet it'll be a first. Thank again. Keep em' coming!

You're always thinking Doug. So smart and nostalgic. And those limbs were definitely too low. Good use of good wood that has a new task, repurposed.

I remember the clothes pins from when I was kid and the ringer washer too. Knew someone that would make little people, sometimes butterflies and decorations, don't see them now only see the spring clips now.

In the town where I live, I own to the middle of the street. BUT the town owns the tree in the lawn between the sidewalk and the street. So it is against town regulations to even remove a twig unless it is already laying on the ground!!!!

Ha ha Dough: I knew you were to smart to break the law and post it on line. Years ago I carved a bunch of spring loaded clothes pins to the shape of an alligator painted them green and gave then away to the kids. They loved them. They ran around biting everyone with their tiny, hungry baby alligator, clothes pins. :O) A couple of adults even joined in on the fun. including me.🐊🐊🐊😃
