From what I’ve heard, she really gives a lot of rude and questionable replies to fans that I wondered if she even likes her fans so I’m not surprised about the throwing up part. Like the time where a fan told her to lower the volume of music because they couldn’t hear the members talking and Shuhua replied by saying they should be lowering their phone volume instead. Or another time where a fan asked for Shuhua’s support for her exam, and Shuhua replied with "Just do it by yourself." I’ve seen a lot of savage moments and none of these moments are in my opinion.

Most of these can be the dynamics of female friendship. Especially with girlgroups cattiness should be expected but it is all in good fun like SinB for example who has be long time friends with the person she is accused. Girls bodyshame, girls call each other stupid but when one points out that she is uncomfortable the other one will likely stop. Sometimes it is just miscommunication. There is still a long way to go and this does not excuse the behavior but in asia it is common for people to point out your flaws. There is an unrealistic standard that I myself is subject to my relatives or friends pointing out that I gained weight. These are the same girls who will help me in my hardest times and is on my side. It is a cultural thing and it can be better but maybe what i wanted to say is I understand where this behavior comes from.

You’ve gained some weight since I last saw you” or when your skin got darker or whiter. It is not just how are you but they say what they notice maybe as a way to assure you that they remember your last interaction. A lot of millennials here in Asia are still guilty of it sort of a “passed on” habit from our elders but the younger ones you barely hear them say such things as they’ve become more sensitive than the previous generation. Imo i think that's normal for K-pop idols to react like that sometimes. They are people too and they live in a competition which makes them be stressed. A lot of them are just done with losing in front of others fellow group mates. I believe that wanting to win is normal and feeling jelouse sometimes is also normal. In the case of gidle, shuhua may have been rude but she may have felt done with all the favouritism other members receives like more lines and solo activity (i don't remember her getting any kind of promotions during their hiatus). I don't make excuses for her but i believe that if i were in her situation i would react similar sometimes, especially when one of my change to shine is taken. However, kpop is business and is about who gets the more attention/ makes the more money. For achieving it kpop idol have to compete with their group mates and other idol. So it's normal to get pissed off when you give all you life training and don't get changes to show what you learned which results in you losing the game and all your teenage years for nothing. @2:07 Not true. Shuhua said 미연언니 (miyeon-eonni) not just 미연 (miyeon). It could sound as if she said 미연이 (miyeon-ni ) but in Korean you subtly shorten two syllables when they sound alike (yeon and eon). If you listen carefully you will hear miyeon~(eon)ni. Please check the claim before putting it in your video please. Korean and Asian cultures are pretty serious about this type of thing you could end up hurting her (but I do agree on other points that she does come off as rude than savage)

I find it funny. Most of this “shuhua is rude” is because of one clip. But, fans love to defend Miyeon as if Miyeon doesn’t annoy shuhua either. As an big fan of boys groups i've always seen them joking around like this,seungmin is a big example of this,he is always teasing the members and he is very straightforward (he is my utt bias) and the fans and even the member see this just like jokes,nothing to take seriously. What I mean by that: me for example, I had so many situations where I was just joking with my friends and they took it too seriously. Me too, sometimes I take things too seriously when someone is just joking about me. We often don't mean to be rude and we do or say some things just for fun with no malicious intentions but someone can understand it in a rude way. It happens often, especially when you see someone every day just like kpop idols do. You can't avoid these kind of situations. When you are a kpop idol, you spend a lot of time in front of the camera, that's why the situations are being caught by netizens. But if you think about yourself, you probably can find a situation from your life when someone didn't mean to be rude to you and you took it as rude, or when you were unintentionally mean towards someone. it's normal, you can't be nice to everyone 24/7, especially when you are close to them. The same case is with Shuhua. She could be in a bad mood that day, or she could've had a fight with Miyeon before. We don't know what happens behind the scenes. Fights and getting mad at someone are also normal. Everyone fights and gets angry, when you see someone everyday or are close to them, the possibility gets even bigger. Maybe Shuhua just couldn't hide her mood behind a smile when she was irritated by something. It could be even something other than a situation with Miyeon. A bad mood or a bad day are something we all have. Let's not expect from idols to always be happy, cheerful, smile and be super nice towards each other, because nobody is that perfect. I'm not saying it's good to make someone sad or uncomfortable, I just try to say that everyone can have a bad day, get angry at another person or say something that seem rude. I hope the members talk about such situations if they feel uncomfortable with each other's behavior, because this is very important and can be the key to a lot of misunderstandings! PS: Sometimes I watch some groups on variety shows and see this kind of situations, for example when Seventeen's Dino and Seungkwan were doing a diss game and Seungkwan pushed Dino and seemed to be angry at him.
