2:04 - The remarkable thing is. He could have been watching an Ant Farm all night. His mother would still be sitting next to him watching it with him, have exactly the same reaction and this video would be "Because Entomology Matters" instead :) A mom taking the interests of her son and him as a person seriously. It is heartwarming.

Honestly, I would probably love this kind of job despite not being socially adept. I get in a zone teaching people about my hobbies which include MTG, tabletop TPGs (currently only D&D 3.5 and 5e and Pathfinder 1e), and storytelling. These worlds are fantastical and get your mind off the struggles of reality and have helped me deal with my own issues. For example, I started realizing how far my insecurities were and I have been working on improving them ever since.

My mom recently surprised me, she usually don't really pay my games any mind and only in my late 20's has she begun to understand how much they have really helped me. All of a sudden she had overheard a conversation I had with a man at Dragon bridge (Skyrim) and made a joke that his daughter needed Me Too, because of the story the man told. I was dumbfounded that she had not only glanced over, but actually listened.

Have I mentioned yet that I love when you have these little touches of animation -- like just the way the mom moved a bit while considering her reaction to the games? I like that it's mostly stills but with just a *little* bit of animation. Kinda wish there were more shows that capitalized on that aesthetic.
