Your channel is new to me, this video was recommended. I'm a mom of one so far, and I've been trying all kinds of productivity systems designed by productivity experts and professionals, but nothing has stuck. I just lacked discipline to follow through. Then one week I tried literally cleaning the whole house on a Sunday. It was so effective, I wanted to try to make it a regular thing. Husband has been on board, couldn't do it without him, and it has been INCREDIBLE. It's been about 2 months and I'm so much happier, and the house is much cleaner. Your system is really simple and easy to set up, and I really think it will work for a lot of people. I'm going to try it out myself, thanks for sharing ❤

I clicked on the video out of curiosity, wondering if whatever this mom master list was, if it could help me in my upcoming school year. I have a lot of extras on my plate beginning in September. Turns out, I do this already! I began with one last summer and used it throughout my homeschool year. I’ve been creating something new for the fall. I can agree, this is life changing!!

I loveeee how simple and efficient this is! I am expecting my first baby girl in just 9 weeks and being the type A person that I am, am trying to prepare for the changes to come. I love this method, and the idea of a "mom binder" in general. Thank you so so much for sharing!

I have six kids 10 and under. I knew I made it in parenting when my two oldest kids took over laundry from start to finish. Three kids is so easy…six is easier!

When do you meal plan, grocery shop and cook? I feel like that’s a huge struggle for me and it’s not on your list - does your husband handle this?

love this, thank you for sharing! my biggest struggle is getting my work done in general because i don't have enough child care to make it all happen. so i feel extremely overwhelmed because i cant get anything done with the kids around.. i have a part time job outside of home and then my small business at home that i'm trying to grow and possibly make full time. any tips on how to get things done with 2 little ones (under 3) constantly by your side.. :(

Do you have a video of what your "homeschool" time looks like? What curriculum(s) you use, timimg/seasons, and how does that work with having younger children?

Because of your last video, I have sicd designated 2 laundry days and I have never felt such a weight lifted off my shoulders like I have! What a simple, small change that has literally made me feel like the laundry handcuffs have been taken off! Wow! Thank you! Quick q: what is PTI? Is this another account of yours I should be following?

Great list! I’ll be taking a lot from it, but it would be so good to see what your timeline would be e.g. what time will you get up to start the day, how much time do you give yourself for each task and so on.

Please share more of this on KZbin and more talks like this❤ I do not have any other form of social media, the Lord told me to get rid of it earlier this year. I only have KZbin and could really benefit from more of your words ❤

She does have a chore time scheduled in almost daily, I’m guessing that’s when the cleaning is dealt with
@MrsMonaR Жыл бұрын
I think the chore times mentioned in the list is for the kids to start helping with chores.

@@MrsMonaR yes i think thats right, i wasnt sure what that meant though or when she fits in the adult chores?

I was going to ask the same thing, but my guess is Becca's husband does the bulk of the cleaning.

What do you mean by Feed starter? Could you please elaborate on that.
@Hannah_MK Жыл бұрын
Usually that means feeding a sourdough starter. You add water and flour to the doughy starter and let it sit and ferment on the counter before making bread out of it.
@MrsMonaR Жыл бұрын
@Hannah_MK thanks. I came across couple of other Homestead channels after i posted this comment and sort of understood what that meant and then i felt really stupid about asking it in the first place...i could have googled it.. but thank you for clarification.

If your husband is stay at home…why isn’t he coming up with the logistical planning? Are you sitting down & doing this together? Moms carry WAY too much of the mental load whether they’re working outside the home or not. Make sure your handing off not only the tasks but the actual thinking behind those tasks. Take a breath. You deserve a break too, mama.

I’m disliking your comment not because I disagree, but because this is very much her personal life. She does not need to share her marriage dynamic to show us how she organizes herself.
