Wonderful video, I loved the recipes. I love what you do with your soups as in eat it that day , eat for dinner and eat for the next few days. My mum did this when we were kids. I also love the sausage muffins, so delicious ❤❤❤❤

Lovely aesthetic! Thank you for mentioning Ruth's ( Hungry for Home) soup recipe. I have had her book on my wish list for a while now. Uhm... on the stale bread ida, on how about baked French toast? Your bread looks very light and tender. YUM!

Very inspiring video, thank you!! I already got sausage out to thaw to make those muffins - but we need them to be gluten-free so I will use GF flour. They look delicious and will be so great for an easy thing to grab! Definitely making the soup too! ☺️

Do you happen to know of a gluten free bread recipe?

I’ve been looking for an easy fresh milled, non-sourdough, sandwich bread recipe! I love the idea of half and half fresh milled and all purpose to work up to loving 100% fresh milled. Just curious do you think this recipe would still work if used all fresh milled?

Love this video so much! Definitely going to make that chicken soup. Where is that cute brown bowl that you put the berries/grain in?

Could use a different flour for the sausage muffins? My husband can’t have wheat so I often mill sorghum, oats, or brown rice. Do you know if any of those might work?

When making bread, do you need a kitchen aid mixer? Is there another process that you know of? I don’t own one and don’t want to buy one just to try making bread 😅 I love all of what you do by the way. And your outfit in this video was so cute, as always!

No, but it might be the easiest way to make it besides a straight up bread maker machine. You can also just use a hand mixer with dough hooks. Plus, you can always go all the way "old school," and just use your hands lol. It takes a little time; you usually have to knead bread dough around 10 minutes after you manage to get it all incorporated. But I highly recommend doing it at least once in your lifetime. Something about getting your hands in the dough is so therapeutic, and almost magical.

Nope! Mix the dough together with a dough whisk, wooden spoon or your hands, and then turn it out onto a floured bench and knead with your hands for about ten minutes (add flour as needed if it’s too sticky). I did this for many years before eventually getting a Kitchenaid (mainly because I had some RSI in my wrists which made it difficult to knead by hand). I used to put a podcast or some music on while kneading to help the time pass. You can also make sourdough which you don’t need a mixer for, you do stretch and folds (or some other variation, like coil folds) instead of kneading it. If you are making a very wet dough that is difficult to knead by hand (like brioche), I find that coil folds work really well.

Yes! I honestly haven’t even really noticed a difference in flavor - so a no brainer substitute!
