Thank you, Shannon!!🥰 I basically alternate between my main two 'becca c smith' accounts, and also with my three for 'rebecca c smith'. But I try not to post the same video on multiple accounts. I'm not sure if it would be a bad thing or not. I just try and get as much variety out there as possible. You never know what will stick with watchers!

Super useful video, thanks! Can I ask, aside from being worried about one account being banned, what would be a reason to have multiple accounts? And how do you decide what to post on each account? Or do yo post on all of them at the same time?

Thank you!!🥰 I definitely started my second account because of the shadowbanning, but the others were for the different names I publish under. I like to keep them separate. I usually make a total of 10 videos for the week on Mondays, then post 2 a day on weekdays. So far this has worked well for me!

wow 😅 tiktok is a beast in more ways than i imagined 😂 do you think its necessary to be present on tiktok if your books are not in KU? (im not publishing yet, but i like to keep up 😆)

Thank you!! And you can definitely get sales for sure on TikTok, I just find for myself and for my friends and clients that use it that KU Reads are the winner in terms of making money.

This was SO helpful. I think I got shadowbanned. 😭 My views were climbing, but I'm suddenly getting under 100 views on every video for the last couple weeks. Once you get shadowbanned, is there any way to solve the issue, or do you just start a new account?

Thank you so much, Natalia!!! And oof, that's absolutely happened to me too. I did have an account that no matter what I did, or how much time I let pass, TikTok just wouldn't push me past the 100 view mark. And I was pulling in 1k-10k views before that. So I did start another account out of frustration. But on my 'Becca C Smith' account, that happened as well, and I went back to watch the videos I posted two weeks before my views dropped, and one of them had the word 'necromancy' in it, which I thought because it was fantasy, it would be fine. I did end up deleting it, just to see if it helped, and sure enough after a day or two, my videos went back to normal. So you might want to try doing that? But it's always good to have a back up account, that way it's not so deflating when TikTok decides to be annoying hahaha!
