I'm happy that you found Christ, but keeping snakes in captivity and breeding them for profit is so wrong. The huge snakes behind you in their prisons is awful. Please reconsider what you are doing and ask yourself does it glorify Christ?

Dear Becket , my 24 year old son who stopped talking to me is now talking to me again . We are going in a trip to Colorado together for Mother’s Day. He lives with his non binary partner still but I’m so glad he’s now talking to me again. Prayer is definitely powerful. Thank God for your KZbin channel.

Al I can say is my life is full of misery. Apparently, the reason for me to be around my parents and other relatives is for them to make me feel like a terrible person who has never done anything right in life. I am destitute at the age of almost 54. I wish every day I could go some place where I do not have to develop an inferiority complex. I am stuck in misery in Las Vegas, Nevada. Any encounter with my relatives is psychological torture.

Thank you for your ministry. It gives me hope that my son will come back to his faith and back to me. He is not gay, but because God heard the prayers of those who love you, I have hope He is hearing my prayers. I have no contact with my son. He doesn’t want anything to do with me. I’m afraid he is homeless. I worry daily and pray constantly. I am encouraged by you, Becket, and I know God loves my son even more than I do. I will continue to pray.

Hello Becket...my brother was a drug addict...many years in jail ... heroin crack ... alcohol.....he was over 35 years a junky ....My brother found Jesus...he goes out on the streets preaching God's word .My brother stopped doing drugs for over 3 years. Without help....He would love to share his experience...

I love it when people like you say, "All glory goes to God for this, and I'm not taking any credit." Certain preacher groups say, "I raised the dead, I healed the sick, and so forth.". Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This verse puts the attention and glory squarely where it belongs and that's on God exactly where it should be.

My granddaughter (age 20) just recently mentioned wanting a pet snake. She's into the goth look when we go out for our weekly lunch dates. Her dad owned a snake in his teens also. I love that letter you got from the former 'gay swinger'. I was thinking about my late brother earlier today. He was not 'gay', but we were both incredible drug addicts. I credit The Lord Jesus with overcoming my addictions to cocaine, same-sex (and yes, it is a sexual addiction), and now tobacco (for over six months now; thank you, Lord). Do you remember that Don Henley song-'The Heart Of The Matter'? That was co-produced by Danny Kortchmar. When he was alive, my brother co-produced and co-wrote three albums with him. Danny also co-wrote the song-'Dirty Laundry'-with Mr. Henley. I was thinking about that the other day while I was at the laundromat. This was on the 8th. of April while the eclipse was going on. I remembered telling someone that it's virtually impossible for most people to 'get clean' of their sins by their own efforts. You need to be washed clean in the blood of Jesus! And it's got to be heart-felt! Amen.

@becket - thank you for saying out loud that spending the night at a friend’s house is weird and it should not happen. It is the first time I hear that from an American. As an immigrant, I felt very out of place to speak up, but I’ve made a rule for my children that there are not to be sleep overs unless it’s at my house. And if the other parents feel the same, there will never be sleepovers and I’m perfectly fine with that. Growing up in Brazil I was 14 before my mom allowed me to have lunch at a friend’s house. 17 was e first time she allowed me a sleepover and still it never happened again - I think she reconsidered it.

How cute!! A hog nose was in my garden one day, pretended to be venomous by puffing out his/her cheeks into a v-shape which is pretty much synonymous with venomous here in VA. I had to Google to identify, I couldn’t figure it out as his her markings didn’t appear venomous but i was confused by the v shaped head!

I’m from Castro Valley. Well, born and lived in Oakland until age 9, then to CV. Spent many of the next 10-12 formative years of my life in Hayward. Moved to Southern CA 32+ years ago. Saved 22 years ago. Every time I “go home” to the SF Bay Area I wonder whether there are any East Bay folks like me who love Jesus (it’s pretty spiritually dark up there). Intellectually, I know there are (God’s children are everywhere), but it can be discouraging to be around my very large extended family who are saturated in New Age/Pagan practices and pretty hostile toward Jesus and His followers. So it’s always so encouraging when I hear about others from my beloved East Bay who proclaim Jesus as their first love. Hallelujah! Amen! 🌸💟✝️💜🌸

Beautiful testimony ♥️ I didn’t start talking about my sexual abuse until I was 33. So much shame 😢 I have found healing in Jesus and lessons from Celebrate Recovery 🎉 An important one is that “we are only as sick as our secrets.” SO MUCH healing comes from talking about it and bringing it into the light, especially God’s Light….the darkness can’t exist there! 🎉🎉🎉
