51:12 agree on the blade v7 feel. I have yet to find a modern racquet that feels this good. I think the blade v5 was better, but for recent models, the v7's pocketing is amazing.

At some point you do have to balance desire to win and desire to have fun. I was winning a lot of points playing defensively with power racquets. But they required so much adjustment since I learned tennis with less powerful sticks, so much adjustment that it made things less fun. Luckily I found that the 100 sq in control lines can be a good middle ground for me.

I loved the podcast. My favorite question was about a dream racquet set up. Both of you have great tastes in that arena. My dream frame would be a more forgiving Ntour 95. A 100in² headsize with the same weight, balance, and beam thickness. When that frame broke, I was sad because they were so hard to replace. The 95 was hard to defend with, but the weight and balance was so accessible. Wilson made an awesome frame. Newer models were way too stiff for my liking. The 60-64 RA range was where that frame should stay.

I would try looking in youth 26 inch made to adult specs racquets as a bunch are probably going to be made for players with less power and a lower weight becuse an inch of racquet is missing can help with this stiff issue.

42:30 I think there is also a Wilson feel; a more comfort-oriented, plush, feel and wilson racquets in general tend to be more on the control side.

Pierre South Dakota has no indoor courts but we do have new hybrid courts of concrete where paint gives a super hard clay feel for outside and indoor could use a YMCA Racquetball court and play mini tennis as hey do have or did have for availably to use a portable Pickleball to Badminton adjustable net for Pickleball, Speed Tennis game in Europe and slowly coming to USA, beach tennis/Badminton and Lawn Tennis. I have even seen players in there playing kings tennis on a smaller court.

Used the Dunlop Srixon CX 200 tour with Volkl Cyclone and lead tape. Now I'm all about the Tecnifibre 305 stock with just leather grip and Tecnifibre Razor code real loose under 50lbs. Sorry to hear about the 45 minute Summer tennis situation. My dream is to build a private grass court

I’ve always liked smaller racquets with a little weight but I’m older and out of shape so I use a 97 or 98 in racquet now. I wanted to try the Dunlop’s but I’m going back to the diadem elevate tour (old model) I think they play pretty well over all. A lot of racquets feel like they aren’t perfect and are missing something but I can rarely fix it. I use lead bit sometimes I don’t get it right and it feels heavy and I just take it off. I’d like to customize this diadem just to see what I can actually get out of it but not sure how. I’ll keep most of my racquets stock bit I’d like to get one fixed up nicely

Jonas, You really should give the Head Prestige Tour a decent try out. You have always edged back towards the PT57A but recognise that it is not the easiest and most forgiving frame ( and I totally agree with that ). The Prestige Tour Auxetic ( I use the older model with Auxetic 1 ) is the same size head as the PT57A ( 95 ) but with a 16x19 pattern. It is a much less demanding every day racket. Even Nicki said that it was the easier alternative in your Prestige recent video. Strung with Velocity it has an amazing feel and great control but is much easier to use that the PT57A.

What would be a racquet you would recommend for me to try out? I hit with a flatter ball usually but I love to slice if that would help?

Currently playing with a dunlop cx200. Its not bad but its pretty difficult to play with because im not at that level yet. Im looking to switch to the blade v9 or a yonex ezone since it has extra pop. I would like some recommendations since I am looking for my racquet to give me something back and I am willing to lose some control from it.

Yeah it is interesting how you can not review a racket really objectively. You can talk about specs and stuff but other than that it is really subjective. And for me it is also pretty hard as I have hard switch from clay to a fast indoor carpet court. Which makes the review even harder to make kind of objective. Great podcast guys.

I prefer low swing weight racquets bc I can customize. If something is outside of my range than there is nothing I can do to play with that racquet.

The brand loyalty to Yonex is prob. bc of the fact that their Isometric design has a distinctive feel and switching back to a classic rounder shape is more challenging... For me it's the other way around, I can't get into Yonex frames bc of the head shape, it doesn't feel right/natural to me... I tried several times but couldn't switch due to the isometric shape and muted Yonex feel...

I disagree about Head having too many raquet lines. Options are always good for the consumer. A good nerd is able to pick on the differences between 2 similar raquets (eg Boom Pro, Radical Pro, Speed Pro) and these matter. I additionally, having fewer paint options also matters. I’d hate to be cornered into a single line which happens to have a color I don’t like. But to each his own.
