Beckett Simonon-Horse Bit Loafer VS. Paul Evans-Caine Bit Loafer: The Best Bang for Your Buck

Peace family! 💜 Today we're reviewing two of the favorite shoes I have in my collection; the Beckett Simonon Horse Bit Loafer vs. the Paul Evans Caine Bit Loafer.

I agree the Paul Evans is a superior loafer. The small details of Italian craftsmanship really bring it home. *at least for me it did. After 6 months waiting for my Paul Evans loafer, they arrive I’m excited long time coming. It’s spring of 2023 and I’m ready to try these shoes on. To my heartache the dye job was awful. I contacted Paul Evans they agreed to replace the shoe but it would be another 6 months before I can receive my exchange. Also returning shoes is an additional $30. That would be out of pocket. Because of past experiences with Paul Evans customer service and the experience I had with this particular purchase, I have decided not to be a returning customer. I will repair my new $395. Loafers on my own .

Man, I'm sorry you had that experience my brother. That's gotta be frustrating. I'm confused about why it took six months though. Was it a MTO shoe you had customized? Paul Evans shoes are usually 'Ready To Wear' and with the exception of certain styles, take only a few weeks to arrive (or at least mine did). I have several pairs, and I've never waited 6 months. The longest time I waited was for my Oxblood Chelsea Boot, that took a little over two months. Anyhow, I hope it goes well for you brother. Be blessed 🙏🏽

Hey Doc! 😊 Absolutely, I do. I recommend two brands. One type I use is Stance. They're the less expensive of the two, but are pretty good. They're super light, but sometimes slip. Most of the time they stay in place though. The other is BOMBAS. They are almost double the price, but the only no-show sick I've had that never slips. It's a little bulky though, so it comes with that compromise. 😊

@@MrChristopher1 Thank you so much for your reply! I think the music was good as an intro to start the video. Once you start talking I think the music should slowly fade to zero... Then the focus should be maintained towards you and all senses should be directed to you. You do have great camera appeal and presence and your delivery as you talk is excellent.
