That's a pretty slick workflow. I would maybe look at applying your LOG-REC709 conversion luts directly to the master clip for each video file, that way they apply to all the individual sections you use from each clip all at once. It saves having to have that 3rd adjustment layer and having to chop it up whenever your're cutting between cameras/clips.

Agree recording anything takes 3 to 4 times as long. I was one who thought this would be easy. WRONG haha but I love doing it so it's worth it. I would love to have more time to fine-tune everything better. I am getting there. It took days to edit a video in the beginning now I have that down to a few hours now. Love the video it's fun so see how other people edit. I just got a faster computer too which wow helped so much.

Concerning time needed for a video from start to finish... when I worked in TV, years ago, we calculated 1 day per minute of video. 15min video = 15 days of work incl. research, shooting and editing. During edit, we calculated 1 hour per minute of footage for a final edit, not including rendering times and/or special fx. Just normal edit, basic music, nothing fancy. So yes, doing video stuff takes a lot of time. And I really appreciate the effort and quality of all your videos.

Awesome as always! Thank you! What I learned: - INTERPRET footage BEFORE adding it into your timeline. I've been just adding it direct from the bins each time, and it wrecks playback speed because of the different frame rates. This could be huge for me. - Target bitrate of 60?! I've been using VBR 2-pass at 12 and 16, respectively--this has been really hard to find in-depth guidance on... - Exporting with Media Encoder?! Brilliant.
