Hello Becky, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 and lead me to having a double mastectomy in 2014. I had triple negative carcinoma. It's a very hard surgery and took me a while to adjust. It's my best decsion because my cancer had a high chance of returning. I'm here If you ever want to talk about after surgery and feelings. Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery . Xoxo

Hello Becky I had mine done cos a had a stage four lump and my family had the gene. Eight years on I'm still ok. My dad and many family members died from breast cancer. Two of my sisters and myself went through it more or less the same time, and thank God their ok too. It's worth having in it Becky but can't lie and say it's easy. Will be thinking of you darling.❤️🙏

Amazing, someone very close to e has recently had this done with the nhs and it went well, however she’s getting them rebuilt and having implants put in from what I believe

Hi Becky, so glad you found this in time and I sent you a msg recently BEFORE I saw and knew of this video or knew you were having this surgery!...I'm new to discovering you and your GF blogs, books, etc. Long story short...saw your Scones video, saw the lump on your wrist, thought of an old friend who had exactly the same symptom and later passed away from undiagnosed breast cancer. So I sent to a msg to warn you to have mammograms! But lucky you're on top of it. Anyway, that's my unproven theory, anyone with growths, lumps on the wrist region, please get regular 'high density' mammograms!! Keep up the good GF work and stay safe and healthy :-)

Here in America, when I asked about food, I was told I had to supply my own because the hospital is not equipped to keep things GF. I was utterly shocked when you said you will only be staying one night! Looking forward to watching your future vidoes. Heal well!

My daughter had breast cancer a few years ago and there was a possibility that she may need a mastectomy. She was very anxious and with her support team she watched an information film about it. She was reassured and said if she needed the op she wouldn't now be scared. In the event she didn't need the op. Hope you find this info reassuring. Wishing all goes well for you. 🙏

I'm 32 I had a double mastectomy last year because I have an ATM gene mutation with 95%+ cancer risk in most cancer predispositions. I've also had a total hysterectomy.

How do you get a gene test and it is it free? Or do you have to have relatives with it before doctors say you can have one? If I had that gene, I would the same thing.

Hi, i’m from the United States. I had two grandparents who had breast cancer. My mother's mother died at age 50-ish from breast cancer and my other grandmother, who is my father’s mother had a few and she lived to be 95. Other types of cancer run in my family skin cancer does testicular cancer. The reason why I had this type of seizure is because I had a genetics test done for breast cancer and my next test came back. Good news but I still had a 56% chance that I would develop some type of breast cancer in my lifetime. I double mastectomy and that does help a percentage that 56% chance to go down. And I found two wonderful male plastic surgeons, one that represents breast Cancer and another one that is a plastic surgeon. And I decided to go through a double mastectomy on October 9 last year. I had breast spacers for seven months and then on May 29. I had another procedure to switch from breast spacers to breast implants. So I’ve been healing from that surgery. And I’ve been meaning to want to tell you what’s been going on with me. When I finally got my tubes taken out from my double mastectomy. I thought I just had sensitivity under my armpits and since my second surgery, I’ve been finding that my armpits are a little less sensitive, but I probably have nerve damage then I will be finally getting to see a neurologist to see how damaged my nerves get because of the surgery, and prior to physical therapy. I am so glad that I finally found somebody on the Internet who decided to do a double mastectomy electively. and I just wanna say thank you so much for putting this video out and making me feel less alone sometimes in this decision that I did already do. So thank you for sharing your journey and I would love to hear how you have been since your surgery.

becky i'm from the future and you have low stomach acid problems. you need to try prokinetiks and hcl betaine. you also need to do the elemetal diet before that
