His claim that we need to live dangerously.. but not as in sky diving or driving 100 mph .but the fact dangerously as in the courage to challenge cultural norms and things that aren't morally right within our own religions/governments etc ..really hits home with me.

Nietzche wrote the book on motivational speaking and writing. Motivational philosophy is his claim to fame. He is quoted constantly and everywhere by people who don't even know who he was and often times in a way that is hard to recognize. Nietzche introduced the science of motivational psychology into the collective Western psyche. Without him, I would have completely misunderstood Christianity and refused its deeper lessons on eternal growth in finite time. Without him, many would still live on their knees. He showed us that success and exceptionalism are not for a predetermined few, but for all who would just accept it and learn self governance.

Absolutely agree with Nietzsche philosophy, we must create own meaning and values in our life

We must start by searching the true meaning!

Nietzsche would certainly agree-by creating our own meaning and values, we empower ourselves to live authentically, shaping a life that’s deeply aligned with who we are.

Yes, chaos is not difficult. Most people's lives are chaotic... Some more than others. Imposing order and discipline on the chaos is what is difficult.

Nietzsche’s Übermensch idea is so inspiring-a call to rise above, create our own values, and pursue greatness through self-overcoming. Excited to apply this!

I agree that group behavior can sometimes end up as mob rule. But I disagree with his take on individuality. I believe that’s the problem with America these days. Everybody thinks the individual is what’s important, and the hell with the group, or in this case society as a whole. Especially in America, we think of I, I, I, rather than the I, sometimes and that WE, sometimes. I am an American living in Japan and have for the last 30 years. There is a definite difference between American values and Japanese values. Japanese value more of the concept of harmony and the well-being of society as a whole rather than just individual.

I can see why you said that, people are turning to Nihilism, and so called Individual' moralities which are nothing but a step to chaos. Anyhow, I'm giving a message to search meaning on your own. If you are Christian, read everything about Christianity, Islam, other religions or Atheism. Find out what's right on your own. That's it

You can choose among values, but 'creating values' is mere hyperbole. What value have you created that did not already exist ?

Agreed 💯, i did mention clearly in the video about how should we SEARCH for the right meaning!

@@PhiloNauticaa Yeah, I'm just stirring the pot. Also, as I am sure you know, Nietzsche writes more to inspire than to be strictly logical. However, as a student of philosophy, I always try to give the anti-thesis to thesis of any and all philosophers. I believe this helps to provide a perspective that is missed when we simply agree and applaud. That being said, there is still much truth and even more inspiration in what Nietzsche wrote. As I'm sure Nietzsche would agree, the only right meaning is the one that you determine is right for you. And that is what he really means when he writes about creating our own values. I already knew that, but I think we shouldn't just accept everything at face-value, but instead always try to see what can be said against a philosophy --- especially those ones with which we tend to agree with already.

That contradicted his nihilism, that values aren't created but emerged through herd instinct rendering them baseless and incapable of believing a value system through the master slave morality of aristocracy. He literally can't take them seriously....the integration of creating value against this system that he defined as systematic attempts at logical moral structuring, which he was known for grinding against which probably drove him mad. The value he made was the ubermenche the antithesis to master slave of aristocracy. Meaning didn't even seem relevant in his writing but rendering it baseless through herd value during his era.
