I’m so glad I found you recently on KZbin! I look forward to your Godly wisdom and I thank you. I’ve been a believer for many years but lately I feel new growth. 🙏🥰Thank you! I also read the word every day and am a seeker of God. I spend two or three days a week watching my little grandchildren so that doesn’t leave tv time! Praise!!! 🙏✨❤️.

For the longest time I have been desiring godly insights and instruction about womanhood from an “older” woman. I’m a young mom of three boys who has been walking thru trials and difficulties in my marriage and just needing a godly older woman to come alongside me to encourage and admonish me in the faith. Sadly, this ministry has been lacking or non-existent in the churches I have attended. Thank you for posting these videos. I wish I could have all of these on dvd or MP3!! I’m thanking the Lord for the encouragement I’ve received to help me from your wisdom and strength experience. God bless!

Anne Lembke is a psychologist specialising in addictions. She's all over KZbin right now, as she's recently published a new book. I mention her, though I have NO idea of her religious beliefs, because she admits she once had a strong addiction to romance novels. I was in the middle of reading "The Masterpiece" and also just read "Redeeming Love". Her information on addictions confirmed what I already knew; they are written to create a romantic "longing" in us. Just because the author is "Christian", doesn't mean the content is for our eyes, minds, and hearts. I definitely felt the storyline and the romantic portions (especially The Masterpiece", are written to create an emotional response in the reader that belongs between oneself and their husband. I won't be reading any more of these books.

I agree with what you’re saying. How can we be fed, purely, and still have this “romance arrousal” happening at the same time? That’s disgusting..

Thank you, Lori. I appreciate your teachings. Have you seen The Chosen? I would welcome your opinion on that.
@LoriAlexander19802 жыл бұрын
I have enjoyed The Chosen so far and haven’t heard any false teaching. I have read critical reviews of the show, but so far, I will continue to watch it unless it veers off to false teaching.

Did you see the episode on The Chosen when Matthew helps Jesus with the sermon on the mount? I find that very odd. I heard something about some of the producers/writers are Mormon.

Love your passion and work!! As a forever bachelor I can tell you 90% of the women out there do not have the good wife mindset. Most women can barely cook. Women are mostly angry out there in society but then again they all have to go to WORK FOR A LIVING.....instead of having a good Husband. 😉

I think women are unhappy because of societal issues affecting both genders and sexist stereotypes put on women. Cooking isnt specific to gender, it's a life skill everyone should have. 🤷♀️

Yea, these days TV shows have a bit of degeneracy in them. As a man growing in the Lord, I'm learning to let this worldly stuff go.

Thank you! I’m 30 and always felt uncomfortable when it flashes to someone suddenly in the middle of s*x. And it’s common now on Netflix and the other big names for a new movie to have nudity in the first 20 mins.

I agree. I think there's so much nudity now they throw it in to keep a male audience.

Lori, here you are again preaching online- which is fine. However, I would like to say how disgusted I am at your comments that support the rape and abuse of women. You commented to a lady that was raped in her sleep by her husband that it was ok. How disgusting, may God have mercy on you! Rape and abuse is sin in the eyes of the Lord, that woman is very precious to the Lord. How dare any man rape his wife in her sleep, this is sinister and demonic. It is also likely the start of more abuse; wise advice would have been to recommend that lady and her husband seek pastoral counsel asap. Thank God for the many women attending colleges today that love the Lord. Some of them are our doctors, midwives, nurses, teachers. These roles cannot be filled by only men. Thank God for women who are educated, and use their knowledge for the glory of God. Get off the internet, submit yourself to a church fellowship where you can be accountable for what you are teaching others. God bless you.
