I LOVE YOU! I am a nearly 40 yo working mum and I am learning bass the last 3 months, no teacher, no time. You are BY FAR my fav KZbin teacher. I love the videos being a VERY new beginner, but when your showing finger placement it’s hard to see which finger your using. When I think you using your index your ring finger is on the fret as well. I’m sure when I get the notes learned it won’t be an issue but for now it’s kind of tricky learning what your doing. BUT... I absolutely love the videos! Very informative! Thank you!!!

Beginners would like learning the riff to My Girl by the Temptations
@trexinvert5 жыл бұрын
That's a great riff for an "easy" beginner scale homework. Look up the major pentatonic scale(this is same as major scale minus the 4th and 7th notes, so you end up with only 5 notes....5=penta..get it). Then play this scale or riff(yes same thing) from root to octave. Meaning start on E(fat string) and play the scale up to E(skinny string). Keep on.
