Just dont dont do gym work in general. No pro player was built in the gym
@dryiced24597 ай бұрын
@@sos1668Its pretty ignorant to think that no footballer works in the gym when all you have to do is take a peek at Bayern, Barca, and Real Madrid’s training (or any other team, for that matter) and see the work they do in the gym. Just because some self-proclaimed fascia expert on TikTok or instagram said something doesn’t mean it’s true.

@@sos1668 to train explosiveness, strength, flexibility the gym is useful for all of these obviously you should be playing more but the gym is pretty useful

I love this video. It's great that you break down why the videos are good or bad, and what is applicable as a pro player. It's so easy to get caught up by those "DONT DO X, DO Y INSTEAD" videos and have it actually limit your game.

For the record I do agree with everything Matt says about my video. This is actually one of my softer videos when it comes to juggling. You do need to be able to juggle to succeed in ⚽️ for a few different reasons.

@@coachchristo5745 Hey man I'm a big fan I was wondering what tips you have to improve juggling? I know its important for touch but I'm pretty bad at it, I have improved and my record is now 18 but I can only hit around 10 a few times when I practice my juggling. First try probably 2-5. What tips do you have for me to improve faster?
@coachchristo57457 ай бұрын
@@NextKingOfFootball It’s not the answer you want to hear but focused practice. You’re probably semi distracted when you’re juggling. Get the earbuds out and really focus on what you’re doing. Hear every touch. If you dedicate time, effort, and focus, you’ll improve rapidly.
@NextKingOfFootball7 ай бұрын
@@coachchristo5745 no that makes sense. Its true I often have a podcast or music in the background as I juggle although I have been focusing much more instead of just going through the motions. Thank you for your advice

Shelly, as a non-soccer player, I'd like to add one bit of advice: when it comes to singeing the edge of the socks (4:39 mark), use a Zippo. Sure, that butane torch does the job just as well, it doesn't emit the smell of naphtha, nor does it have to be refilled once a week, plus the fuel is relatively friendly from an environment/ecology standpoint. But a Zippo is badass, it's a staple of TV and film, plus the clicking sound is more satisfying than any ASMR video ever. And even in the current day, when waving a phone has become the thing at concerts, many people will wave a picture of a Zippo because they know of its iconic status. Besides, if you're gonna do something on TikTok - you gotta look cool. A Zippo makes you look like a baller, while a plastic Bic disposable will make you look like some 72-year-old chain-smoking Karen.

Davies talking about Thomas is interesting, sometimes I hear so much praise for Muller I get a little tired of it, but I wasn't around for the era of people constantly comparing CR7 and Messi's goals scored and dribbling highlights all the time, and there's still so many kids trying to be the next CR7. Still, so many modern football mangas from Japan have some sort of character the story bills as the next Muller (often the main character!).
