Becoming a Christian caused her to be locked up in Jail. Christian Woman in Bellevue for her Faith.
Orietha gave her heart to Jesus and upon so doing felt the Holy Spirit instructing her to leave her job. Family members and friends not understanding and rightfully so, thought she was going crazy. She could be heard praising God in a loud voice and various hours and her fanatic behavior concluded in the minds of others that she had gone mad.
Beyond her control, she was admitted to the Bellevue hospital for two weeks, where she was fed medication for the mentally ill, amongst other inhumane things, but finally, after two weeks she was able to be released. By this time, she had lost her apartment and had nowhere to live.
Deciding to go live with an ex-boyfriend, her Christian belief took another turn when she felt the Lord telling her through his word that he would provide food and other basic necessity without a price and without money. This led to Orietha going into business establishments and taking up grocery items, etc, and walking through the door without paying. Until it, all caught up with her and she landed in Jail. While in jail and still convinced God had led her, a non-christian woman gave her the reality check that what she was doing was stealing and not the Lord leading her to do such things.
Could it be that most of us Christians are misunderstanding the Word of God and using it for our own convictions?
Should Christians and other religious folks who proceed to do wrongs in the name of Christ be made to face the consequences of their actions, or the fact Jesus died to save sinners, they should be pardoned?

My testimony is so similar in many ways. I didn’t go to jail because I didn’t steal, didn’t go to Bellevue but was in an abused marriage that felt like it. Leaving Ja as a professional and ending up on the streets in Toronto with a young baby during winter in slippers. But God. To him be all the glory and praise.

We are quick to judge others because they sin, but we want symparhy when we sin. One thing I realize is this: nobody has any heaven or hell to put us in, and Only Jesus died for us, not man. And sometimes, the people who judge Christians who sinned, are notorious sinners. They have their own rap sheet, and they sin for fun, business. For them sining is a lifestyle. They sin without shame, guilt, or remorse. My sister, I would not swop my Christian journey for anything. We do get deceived at times, but we grow from it.

This is why deliverance after baptism is very important because it does not necessarily means you are automatically rid of the demons that bothered you…some must go through a process.Let me tell you…who feels it know it and if you are in a church that don’t do deliverance only the grace of God can help you because the other members will watch you suffering and label you mad and ostracized you. For example when she gave her life to Lord, did she go to New Converts class to be taught and mentored etc.. She was deceived that it was voice of the Lord to go into the store. A scripture came to mind... King James Bible Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted he any man: New King James Version Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. but the way the devil attacked job is the same way He attacked her, the deceiver of brethren was using her for his own purpose; spirit of manipulation, but God turned her life around. That means you are for the world, the moment I heard you called yourself first lady I realized that you dnt understand what you did to yourself when you see yourself as high, being higher than the rest and want to be looked upon and as such treated and even bow to when you put yourself high like that. I could see immediately when Orietha was speaking that was what made the difference for good in my own life. The church has been there for my life every step of the way, from my very birth. This is one of the values of your presentations. You are presenting things the way that they have been with no embellishment. The wise persons can take these "case studies" to filter them through truth. Jesus said that "you shall know the truth and knowing the truth shall make you free. Your interview of the pastor both of you decide that people reach the pastor through you. I wanted to reach Orietha through you. I want to be a sister to her through you. One of the things that we learn through the study of Crisis, Suicide, Grief and Trauma informed is that when there is an event there is usually an Incident Command and that people do not just show up to help uninvited. Usually, people work through a liaison. I saw through that this is how Orietha will become more effective in her calling. Yes, as Christians Jesus Christ is our Incident Command and Holy Spirit of God is our liaison. As human beings, we are still on this side of eternity. David behaved himself wisely i Sanuel 18:5 and i Samuel 18:14.

I know that First Lady Orietha told the truth. What she experienced in one lifetime was spread out multi-generational for me. Our story is teenaged mother (my mother and 9 children. I am the oldest of 10. The third child died in infancy. All of us have a story to tell. God has a work for us to do.
