there's no such thing as software engineer in F1, you need to decide a specific area you want to pursue. But for us Indians it's very difficult. Not impossible. As it's difficult for non-europeans to even pass the interview phase while applying. I watched some interviews with the Mclaren team (here the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/nonTXp2wpJ1oodk ) Im in my first yr at college and getting as an aerodynamicist in F1 is my dream but im really disappointed how unfair it is
