Albion Online is one of the games that exists in 2023 and I'm gonna find out in this Best in Slot episode exactly how much of a menace I can be in this game in as short a time as possible.
Keep in mind this game is not a full review but semi-review-ish. I did this to enjoy and challenge myself in trying to make a mobile gaming, pay to win MMORPG enjoyable.

There is more to this game than just pvp. The true genius is the schizophrenic dichotomy between the free market forces that the devs know is enjoyable and their own german authoritarian tendancies. The freedom to make your own choices and how salty the dev sanctified reddit community gets when they dont approve. It just gives the feeling that they are so close to a complete meltdown at all times. It's frigging glorious.

Arena alone is good content. Corrupted dungeons. there is also really good Albion guide start that gets u to pvp tier in like 2 hours. u can change and try different weapon armor sets in pvp arena

A fair review in many ways, but he really went quite hard on the premium schtick. I bought a month of premium when I started playing 3 years ago and never spent a dime since. Just play smart with your personal economy and you can do just fine.

For a game that is build on having a "deep" and player driven economic, it really sucks hard, because of the shitty P2W monetisation. And since neither the combat, the gameplay loop nor the content is on it's own fun, the grind feels literally like busy-work just to have a feeling of progression (and ofc a reason to spend money to skip it). I get that obstacles (usually grind) is a necessary tool to regulate things and make some other thing special, but that gets through under the bus anyway, when you have a shop like that. Same for cosmetics. I also think it's funny how ppl seem to hate players like SwoleBenji, when they are just using literally the game as intended. I personally would say if seemingly everyone hates that, it shows, that it's a major design flaws in the game, but I guess the playerbase is already way to deep to acknowledge that and instead hate on him, #LovingSunkCostFallacies am I right fellow Albion players? While I'm on a rant anyway, combat =/= gameplay, it's a part of it and gameplay =/= game experience, it's again only the part of it. Just because something isn't directly effecting the combat doesn't mean it doesn't effect gameplay. And just because "everything" (usually gameplay related things) are also obtainable without money, doesn't mean it doesn't effect the game experience. There are a ton of other falsely used words and concepts ppl use like visuals and graphics, but I ranted enough for 1 comment. Anyway, I really hope you get the success you deserve for staying true to yourself and continue with your "harsh" (IMO normal and neither lowered standards nor shilling) critics.

Dude, I am not defending sbi or anything. Albion online is one of very rare and few MMOs in which a non P2W player like me can do and have everything a p2w player can, the only difference would be time and effort that i will be putting. the grind is part of the albion experience, if u don't want it just skip the game or swipe ur card fr some virtual money that is worthless logically, bcs sooner or later u will lose that virtual money in the game after that u will be regreting it😂. I won't say I am rich but i have enough worth to laugh at p2w players fr spending 20dollars fr a amount of silver i can make in playing couple of hours casually fr a few days😂. Albion online is a hard game with twisted game systems that will u come to hate later after understanding it in the game. I personally am playing it the 8th time, so far i am enjoying it in the east server.
