Hi Poppt! I study Psychology and about the sleep thing, I think it's likely that you're thinking of Default Mode Network, which activates not necessarily when you sleep, but when you're doing nothing in particular, a lot of connections and interconnections are changed when a person isn't particularly focused in anything, so it may be more useful to just sit down outside and look at the clouds than to try to force yourself to sleep. I am just a student though, so I could be wrong

Bro I'm so happy there's gonna be a part 2. This was my most wanted video. What I think you should focus on jordan is doing more outside the box training exercises. That would make for maybe better improvement depending on how effective it is, and it would make for a more entertaining video I would think. Like for example: When I started playing and wanted to get better at Lcanceling: I would take every character that has a super laggy move, Like Link down air, Bowser Up air, Kirby down air, etc. and I would use it as high as possible and still nail the L cancel. This works well for making your muscle memory connect the L cancel with ''Landing on the ground'' as oposed to specific timings with your aerials. Weird exercices like that would really help you I think. Also try and get Uncle Punch, it would make it much easier to train.

Game 2 against the first falcon you started having the right idea. At your current level, trying to be as fast as possible with Marth isn't really the best advice, I would just focus on playing neutral and not always approaching. Unless you're more than one stock down, you should try to approach as little as possible. When they run into you, intercept them with a shorthop fair, dtilt, or grab. "A stock isn't a lead" Also, for spacie up b recovery, you wanna stay on stage and down b as Marth, particularly if they're horizontal or below the ledge. For spacie side b recovery on stage, just jab 1, then set up for an edge guard. If you think they're gonna side b directly to the ledge, turn your back to the ledge, wavedash back and grab ledge.

people tend to focus only on technical skill when they learn the game in the first few months. most of them won't have the best neutral which can lead to upsets when comparing people with raw skill level. for the few punish game we got to see you perform, you're holding up quite well for someone who started to play seriously in only a week!

I can't believe I missed this upload. Damn. One of the most fun things about melee is that its actually a lot of fun at low level against high skill players. Learning how to DI/SDI to get out of combos is very different from ultimate and DI also feels way more important in melee. I mean its obviously important in ult but in melee you just feel it. When I play my best friend if he has been playing bad a lot of the time I will either just hold straight in or not DI to let him get a decent combo and that instantly makes him wanna keep playing.

Wow, I’m honestly impressed. I’ve been playing competitively since 2014, and even though your movement is really crude and rudimentary, I was surprised how much you were able to pull it together with just some basic game sense and timing. But yeah, a week would never ever be enough to make it in melee. It’s just how it is with the game and community it has.
