I feel like the Smilo is just too OP. For what it was IRL, it's too fast, has too much combat weight, and deals too much damage.

While I do agree, I can also see why they've made it the way they have with the power of some dinos. It's very much a pvp based mod rather than a more realistic version in my opinion. Similar to some mods that have come out recently such as Kapro and Absentia Acro.

It seems like it yeah? But in reality smilodon would fair quite well against dinosaurs it’s size and slightly bigger than it, despite its small frame it’s got a lot of power and weight in all that bulk but none of that would really matter just because those two MASSIVE fangs would be deadly if it got around the neck of any dinosaur thats game over.

I think it’s pretty realistic, Smilodon was incredibly strong for its size but slow compared to lions and tigers. The forearms of the smilodon allowed it to take down prey that could have weighed a ton or more. Its swipes from its arms alone could break our bones and its claws are much larger than other cats. The Smilodon also could have weighed 1,000 pounds for larger individuals too.

@ exactly most mammals of that era despite having more compact builds had ridiculous power behind it, but smilodon having those teeth gave it an advantage though because those things could latch onto throats of creatures far larger than it and the fight would be over
