Not necessarily. If you look at literally everyone’s style: bright colors, crop tops, sweatpants and a tank(feel like I’m mostly speaking about girls and its cause I am one) fluffy jackets and such, that all came from the 70’s. So first of all, a VSCO Girl is pretty much me in the 90's minus some things like crocs...got ya. Second, I would burn every croc in existence in hell fire if I could because those things screw your feet up majorly and why podiatrists tell you never to wear them and I am proof of that as they gave me crippling planter fasciitis. I will never wear those things again even if I was paid to, that pain was horrible.

Strap: With the loose strap the heel isn't supported which means the toes grip onto the base which can give you tendonitis but with saying that it could also happen with any open backed shoe. The other problem is that it is a flat shoe, there is support there but quite little so if you wear them just wear them for an hour or two tops as all day wear (which is what I was doing, they were my go to shoe for everything) is going to stuff your feet. Because of it I now have to buy orthopedic shoes, they stuffed up my feet terribly and my arches haven't really healed 100% so any shoe that doesn't give me full support plays on the old injury. My podiatrist has seen many feet in pain thanks to crocs that she would love for them to be discontinued.

I hate open back shoes and sandals, does a number on my feet too. So does flat thin soles. But crocs look thick and supportive from afar. Guess looks are deceiving. I only wear sketchers myself when I'm not bare feet.
