Van Upgrade Update... the Campground is Open & My time in Sunny Florida

What’s going on with my van? I left my van in good hands in Houston, Texas with my friend Larry. He’s been busy building a new garage and kitchen, adding an inverter and more battery storage. I can’t wait to see the next version of my 2004 Chevy Express Conversion van. Larry is giving her a major RV Upgrade.
My solo female Van life has been put on hold temporarily.
I left my conversion van with Larry and headed to my campground in Fredericktown, Missouri.
My daughter Misty runs the campground (actually it's a Glampground) where we currently have 4 Short term vacation rentals and 6 full RV camp spots. We are located on a 33 acre campground on spring fed, crystal clear 12 Mile Creek.
Our unique rentals on the property consist of our pink palace - The Rustic Rose, a 1967 Airstream International Camper, the Tipsy Gypsy Wagon and 2 Tipis.

Of all the beautiful and sassy decorations you've shown in your van and campground hideaways I absolutely LOVE the ceiling (bedspread) in the Tipsy Gypsy the best! We were in your neck of the woods just last week; spent the day hiking at Taum Sauk Mountain State Park. We are fulltime RVers now, but have been parked at my 88 year old father's house helping him adapt since my mother died last August. Hey “Moon Child”, right at where you say, “an 1/8th of a tank”, I do believe you had an orb drop down to your shoulder. The second orb catch starts when you say,...”Misty”, than sweeps across the left side of the screen as you continue on saying, “when I get a call from Larry. Some people are always ready to jump in, turn thoughts and words around to stir up drama. Gypsy to me is an independent free traveler with a nomadic attitude. You have nothing to apologize about at all! I think in the long run we have literally ruined our country by changing our own dynamic in the way we live our lives because some people literally get butt hurt and we as a society feel as though we have to placate feelings to adjust for those weak minded individuals. Hi Bev campground is looking good, I have always loved the slide out draws. I didn’t realise gypsy could be racist, when I was a kid in the UK they actually travelled around in horse drawn wagons and always came to town and sold clothes pegs and and lavender bouquets. Maybe because I was born in New Mexico but the Posh Pony really resonates with me. The name Conway Kitty brought back an old dusty memory of Miss Connie's Dance Studio in Waco. Don't remember if she had a chain or this was the only one, but it was Conway Twitty's wife who owned it. Never saw a scruffy one eared barn cat hanging around...

Stay with the word Gypsy. I think what you're doing is great! Would you say where you are would be a good place for a retirement home, or home base for traveling around the country? I'm looking for a state with low property taxes and low to no income tax.

We decided not to change the name, in the spirit of a free spirited traveler. If someone is offended those are not my people. The cost of living in Madison country is very low. Real estate is affordable and the property taxes are low. Missouri does hav a state income tax though.
