Nice to see Therine getting a taste of beautiful British Columbia. To this day I’m thankful that when my Father decided to move the family from the Philippines, he chose Vancouver. I still remember my very first day in Canada vividly (49yrs ago)I was in awe. Hope she enjoy her first hockey game & you guys enjoy the rest of you visit. One notable learning for me when I arrived in Canada was the introduction of the indigenous people. Not many Filipinos know their existence in Canada and having learned all their history especially their hardships was an eye opener. These indigenous people in Canada are like the Aetas when compared to the Philippines setting. Greetings all the way from Kamloops.

Those are American Indians immigrated to Canada when they were being attacked by Custard on the Battle of Big Horn. Sioux and other Native Indian Tribes were protected by Crazy Horse while they were escaping genocide from the Americans. The Canadian government protected them ever since.

In our office, we "clean as you go" after we finished eating, placing all plates, glasses and kitchen utensils in a tray and putting it in a tray rack beside the kitchen sink where canteen washers clean, wash and wipe dry them.

Hi! Kyle, we just came back from Victoria. We noticed the Malahat Skywalk was open, but we did not go up. We took our American visitors from Texas, U.S.A. to Victoria & it was quite perfect for our tour, it was actually a beautiful day. Please take Therine to Victoria, B.C. Also, the best place to eat is @ Finn's, on Govt. St., by the harbour. There's plenty of parking down below. So many nice souvenir places to check out. Victoria is sure a pretty place to spend your time for your tourist visitors. The Empress Hotel, & the Legislature bldg. are always impressive to show to any tourist visitors. Enjoy your stay in Vancouver Island Therine. Thanks.

It's wonderful to share your visit to Canada both. I can imagine the cold must have been a shock for Therine (similar to here in the UK). Make sure that you do visit Pangasinan Kulas, Marlita's home area. it's got beautiful scenery and such friendly people. I have so much love for my family there and the area. For good, im not young anymore, and i cant stand the 40 degress , especially during Feb. And March snow storm, sometimes you cannot even remember if where did you park your car its all cover with snow, enjoy, go to WHISLER and skie, its like Switchezland, and the snow ,

Comox or Vancouver island has a very mild weather in winter and it seldom snow even the ski resort in Blackcomb, Whistler has a very thin snow. Here in southern Ontario we have a green Christmas. The weather here is like Vancouver always cloudy and rainy. I wonder why. I think because of the climate change. I loved Vancouver in summer. I would like to come back for a visit. I loved Nova Scotia, too. I am very happy Kulas that you brought Therine. How I wished both of you will stay until spring so Therine can experience the blooming of different kinds of flowers. You will loved it there Therine. Hoping both of you will come to Ontario for a visit and see Niagara falls. Therine, if you are climatized to our weather ie four seasons, you will loved Canada.
