Couldn’t you space the headboard back a little to give it clearance?

I think we had it about as far as it would go. The key is to not have too thick of mattress.

If you attach the headboard to the wall to give you the clearance needed when raising the head section, wont the side rails now be unable to reach and connect to the legs of the headboard? Or if you’re just moving the new bed frame closer to the wall so as to be able to mount the headboard to it, wont the moving head section of the bed simply just keep “catching” under that headboard every time you raise it?

We ended up not connecting the headboard to the wall and it has worked out well. At the location you see in the video we had this bed on a hardwood floor in the frame wood slide around it sometimes the mattress would catch on the headboard when raising and lowering. We moved to a different location and now have a carpeted bedroom and it works much better! I suppose if you are going to put it on a hard floor you could always put some sort of rubber feet so that it doesn't slide around. Have a blessed day!

So my question is these bases don’t fit properly in a bed frame? Like I purchased king adjustable and it’s standard 80x76 but I bought a bed frame and it has a footboard and headboard and there is a gap at the bottom of the bed

Thanks for your question. I believe there has to be a gap so that the mattresses have a bit of room to raise and lower. Once we put all the blankets and comforters on our bed it's not really noticeable but there is a bit of a gap. I hope that answers your question. Have a blessed day!
