Interesting build. Did you get the option of folding wings? If you could trailer it back and forth it would save on hanger rental. Are you going to install an airplane parachute? It is so worthwhile since the price has dropped so much for them. I look forward to seeing more of the work you do. It may be easier for you to document with a bodycam like the police use so you could work while filming. They are not very expensive and give you better documentation for your work. I have been interested in the BD4c as well. How long did it take for you to receive after ordering it? Thanks and great job so far!

Thanks. Sorry for the late reply I've been crazy busy. I've been planning to set up a DSLR on a tripod to film a time lapse. A body cam would be handy for my own documentation but would take forever to edit. Very few people (myself included) would watch it uncut as it would be crazy long. As for the wings, no the wings will not be foldable. If they do need to be removed they're reasonably easy to slip off due to the design. Hangar rental where I live is reasonable so it's not a huge deal and the hangar is quite large compared to many others in the area. I would contact Bede Southeast (they're based in FL) about shipping. I received the fuselage kit within about a week or so but that was just before all the covid nonsense so things may have slowed down since then.

@@SkyFunChannel Thanks for the info. I watched it again today when I was looking to see if you have uploaded any more videos. I noticed they mentioned the folding wing option on their website and was curious how that went together. It does look like it would come off easy, but I thing the fuel would need to be drained due to weight. I dont know if the folding design would require draining. I will ask Bede about it. What engine are you thinking about? I have looked at a few, Viking just did one for a Bede that looks great, but there are others that looked good too. I look forward to your next video.

@@wylieecoyote I'm planning to put a Viking 195 Turbo in it with a Duc adjustable 5-blade carbon fiber prop, basically the same setup Viking has with their Zenith super duty. That will probably go in before the end of the year.

@@SkyFunChannel Wow, that is the same one I was looking at. I saw the video where he did the firewall forward in a BD4C and it looked really good. I like the Dynon glass panels. Their latest HDX has everything for far less money. Garmin is good, but they are far more money.
