Its really like any other city, and it is what you make of it. If you like outdoor activities like biking and kayaking, it is great. There are nice parks too. The city could definitely do a better job fixing up, but one of the biggest problems os that the residents want to cry and complain about the state of the city, but dont want to do anything themselves to help improve it. Really, you should drive through again in the summer, it is much prettier when the trees have their leaves . Check out Otis Park, Jiffy Treat, and Milwaukee Trail.

There are quite a few nice smallish county seat type towns in both Ohio and Indiana. Bedford looks a bit sketchy lower working class, but it's well situated if you need a bigger city trip to bloomington and maybe Louisville metro. Realistically you're probably in the $200K range for a safer neighborhood . But the overall crime rate is 11 per 1000 so more or less average.

Ive been here all my life, i live next to the cemetery where my 4th great grandparents are buried so my family has been here for a long time. Bedford is definitely a blue collar type town, there aren't many decent jobs here. We have GM but I think its pretty tough to get on there. Bedford has always been a pretty quiet town, we don't have a lot of crime, just drug related crimes. There are definitely better places to live lol I stay here because my husband does have a good job and its home, like I said my family has been here since Bedford became a town. My grandpa had a plumbing and heating business here for over 60 years called Triangle and Leahy where Ace Pawn is now so theres lots of memories here for me. I think like anywhere you have good and bad but I enjoyed your video for sure!

The opening visual is a cop pulling someone over. I love how that encapsulates my hometowns current state Shawna girgis spent a sh!tload of money moving a dang train station closer to the town square for historic aesthetics. I doubt any money gets allocated properly. The city cops announced how they got bikes donated to them to occasionally survey the hiking trail. However those bikes are missing lol. And if you ask about it they get defensive and don't know what youre talking about. They have a very cult like good ol boy system going on. Bedford is a dying town. And it is unfortunate. They could invest in a parks department and attract people from spring mill and surrounding areas. I grew up there. Born there. Everything there. And I packed up sold and left as soon as I saw it falling down.

Every Blue run city is trash. We don't need more of that anywhere. Noticed the Democrat Mayor of Dallas threw in the towel and changed party because the Democrats are demonic and destroy everything they touch. 81 millions votes my ass.

Forgot to say, yes, your visiting some of the worst neighborhoods. There are one or two streets that are decent. The nice areas are out of the city limits. Might also mention cops and sherif office is hostile to residents. I say it IS a bad place to live, definitely!

It was like my neighborhood changed overnight. I had to sell and get out while we were still safe. Substances took over the people unfortunately. Used to be a beautiful place. The cops don't like to work...... but they get a new station that used to be a whole a$$ grocery store. While the teachers are living off of salaries not updated since before the 08 recession

If you’ re looking to move here, I highly recommend you don’t. GM. Foundry is probably the best paying company. Hospital is terrible, part of IU Health. Don’t know of any nursing homes that are much better. Not much shopping choices. I can’t think of ANY positive attributes. I’ve lived here in the vicinity for over 25 years now. I would move somewhere else if I could afford too, or could figure out where to go.
