Bedrock was made using a different language, you cant use optifine, textures and particles are different, gui showing up is slow, you have to sneak to use a shield, you can only put a map and shield in your off-hand, mob ai is different, water functions different, mob spawn patterns are different, and, many many more differences are there, and, yes, boats do fall damage

The reason there’s a little guy up there is because you have the “paper doll” enabled. You can turn it off and then it won’t show anymore. I play bedrock, it’s basically Java with more things and with less things.

The xp was from the mobs you killed, it just kinda floats around on bedrock version. The torch, you removed from the doorway, to put the door in and the light was from the furnaces, until you left and the fire went out. :)
