My neighbor was a “Girl Scout” here in the US when we were growing up. She had a diagonal sash that went over her uniform and the sash was where all of the badges were sewn onto. That made the most sense since she could continue to wear it as she grew older,as opposed to a top that she would outgrow.😖

I'd like to see a video of the primary bedroom or the guest room next. I've been doing a lot of sorting of family mementos lately. I've sorted items by each family member (all greeting cards for me together etc) and tried to declutter some things but it's hard. For example I like to buy souvenir postcards on trips but I probably have too many. I'm trying to find an amount that's nice to have to help remember our trips without having tons. When I think about my kids needing to sort out my stuff someday, I tend to think the less I save now the better for them later on.

😂 Yeah I feel like that sometimes when I’m throwing away 3 small items. I have to remind myself that they do add up over time. After giving it more thought I’ve decided to be ruthless and get rid of more mementos. I might set a number for each category like no more than 5 postcards for one location. My kids don’t want a dozen Windsor Castle postcards.

I was thinking how nice it would be to have an album with pocket inserts where you could insert each badge in their own section. So much easier than having to sew them onto anything. I've sewn emblems of car related items and such, on my son's jacket, when he was younger, and I had to use a needle nose pliers to pull the needle through. Tough on the fingers. Brook is right, this is a spare room and has many things that need sorting.. With the occasional chairs - it's normal to have one in a bedroom, then when you have a lot of people round all the spare chairs come out!

Also, I want to challenge you to get rid 10 pieces if Summer, Spring clothes and 10 winters fall items like tips and bottoms? So a total of 20? Only keep items that are your absolute favorite items that when you wear them you feel pretty. Anything that is ok, and you don't feel as pretty in....get rid.
