I really hope they stick with the lengthy ambient stuff after the story! It keeps me asleep. Plenty of times I've been struck with the "Oh no the video is almost over and i'm not yet sleepy" anxiety that then proceeds to keep you awake

I love how when the sleep story is over, you left a long duration of ambient sound. It made me feel like I was still immersed in the experience you crafted with your sleep story as I finished listening and drifted off to sleep.

Before you drift into the world of dreams, take a moment to appreciate the day you've had and the challenges you've conquered. May the night bring you tranquility and the gentle embrace of sleep. And when you awaken to the morning light, may it infuse you with newfound energy and optimism. Goodnight, my wonderful friends. Sleep peacefully and awaken to a brand new day filled with opportunities 😴🌙❤😊✨💖💤💓🌟😍

Thank you for another beautiful sleep story! They always are a wonderful part of my bedtime routine. I have a small suggestion regarding the music at the end, though. The long music outro seems to wake me up rather than help me sleep. Perhaps a shorter outro or a gentler fade-out could enhance the overall experience. Thanks for considering and keep up the great work! 🤗

Great story. Absolutely loved it. Reminded me of a book i read recently called Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Fairies. I usually listen to the stories on 1.25 speed (I cannot stand the slow speaking, it gives me anxiety), but in this video when i played it at 1.25 it made the rain sound awful. Like static on an old TV. I dont expect you to fix that problem though, thats a me issue.

O goodness, this story is like a lovely fusion of forest mythology and the old 90s/00s animated film Fern Gully. The description and soothing voice was perfect tonight. Thank you again. Was this inspired by Fern Gully perhaps? Whats coming up next? More myths? Maybe you'll have some traditional Easter stories this year 🙏🤞

While we were thinking what to adapt next from Celtic mythology , someone mentioned Cernunnos in comments :)) Working on some new myths and some other stories atm. Glad you enjoyed this story :)

@@SoothingPod maybe myths from Native America? Or a true story like Pocahontas?

I was kinda disappointed Emily chose to return to the human world instead of staying in the fairy realm when she chose to leave. My mind went through everything that could have happened if she stayed

Thank you. Beautiful! Well worth waiting for. I enjoyed becoming a tree. One cannot carbon date a carving. It seems you missed the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gundestrup_cauldron. Roman sailors honored him, too, as a protector.
@murgh744210 ай бұрын
It would be embarrassing if someone mentioned the carbon dating not being realistic when it's a literal fantasy story about a woman who falls through a fairy ring and meets a mythical being... People are absurd.
@GeorgiaGabet-sb7wv10 ай бұрын
In the 1990's, Writer's Digest put out a book of rules for how to write a good fiction story. One of those rules was that the writer is only allowed one non realistic item per story. Since fairies and Cernunnos were historical deities, which some still believe in and work with today, they don't count. Nor does the travel sequence, now called hedge jumping, which is still some today. Thus, the carbon dating of stone carvings is the only item in this story which is fantasy. I concede. You are correct

Gallic not Gaelic Cernunnos is Gaulish brythonic Cocdius there's other names as well. Gaelic refers to Gaels & Gales

i’m seeing this problem on a lot of sleep story channels right now, where the channel is being forced into an awkward position of people commenting for opposite things: if the video is long, lots of comments say to please remove the ambient sounds, but if the video is short, lots of comments complain about adverts waking them as they don’t have premium… i honestly don’t know the solution here 😅😅 i’m seeing it on every single channel though and i feel bad for you guys having to deal with so many disgruntled replies 😅😅 keep up the brilliant work, it’s amazing :)

PLEASE also continue posting without the "calming background ambience"! Yours is one of the few channels that hadn't caved to this new format. There are a lot of us who pay for KZbin premium, so don't need to worry about ads, and don't sleep well with the added music at the end (I play your videos in a playlist, back to back all night. The break in speech wakes me every time.). Thank you for covering Cernunnos! The Dagda would be another incredible deity to do a story on. 💚💜💚

I’m sorry, but I dislike having the video be so long. I make a playlist of a story and then 10 hours of rain sounds. Music keeps me awake.
@DanaMac197710 ай бұрын
Ha ha I thought I was the only one who made playlists with sleep stories then rain/thunderstorms for the rest of the night 😊
@SoothingPod10 ай бұрын
Actually, there is no music after the story at all, only rain sounds (the last 3 hours) :))
@abrown234410 ай бұрын
I listened to it this time instead of just going off comments. This rain is so quiet it sounds like white noise, which doesn't work for me. (I need to drown out a snoring husband.) I'd still prefer to put my own sounds after the story. Thanks for replying though!@@SoothingPod

@@abrown2344 Thank you for the feedback, we will try to improve that part for now. Trying to find the solution for ads at the end of the video that are now mandatory to avoid waking up people who maybe just fell asleep :)
