"Grease" the song is such an oddity. It's funk, it's orchestral... it defies easy categorization. It's hard to evaluate it as a "song." It simply IS. It's inexorably tied to Travolta's cue, "Of course, not. This is only the beginning," the opening credit animation, and the fade into the opening high school scene. Wow. It was song and filmmaking lightning in a bottle.

Yet the certainly unenlightened will say that they were just "Disco.'. Embarrassing!! As George Carlin would say....we who embrace and recognize greatness and class know otherwise..The Bee Gees are a phenomenon by themselves!!!! Incredible Masters of their art!! Never ever to be outdone..A league of their own...
