What a great song and what a talented trio of young brothers!! Robin and Mo were such cute little boys back then and all kinds of adorable! Barry was so handsome and sexy. He was a teenage heart throb in Australia at this time. He taught himself to play guitar at 9 years old and started writing songs at the same age. Hard to believe he wrote this awesome song when he was only 16, way back in 1963, over 60 years ago. Time flies! Love my fabulous Bee Gees!!! ♥♥♥

Barry was 16 in this. The twins were 13. By this time, Barry was already a professional songwriter and the group was the sole support of their family. He had dropped out of school a year earlier. The twins dropped out of school at 13, also. Their Father and the venue owners found ways to avoid the child labor laws.

I've heard this song before on my dad's record player when I was a kid but I couldn't figure it out who was singing and the fact that I found out who were the Bee Gees cuz of his song stayin alive but there's songs that I heard of them during the 60s I just didn't know it was them but damn all this year's I grew up listening to the Bee Gees and not knowing it was them😭😭 the fact that some songs from the 60s when I listened to it I immediately recognized it 💙💙💙

I thought of something. Although Robin is actually the older twin(by 35 minutes). Maurice looks older. That's not saying anything bad. It's just an observation. Love them FOREVER!!!

It's true, Maurice looks older and was also taller and very cute. Robin was also the most lively at the time. Then, over time, things changed. Robin has calmed down, Maurice has become funny. Robin has grown a little taller, Maurice has always remained a handsome boy but Robin made the real transformation when in the 70s he gained weight and fixed his teeth and he became, in my opinion, a very charming and sexy man.

He then suffered bouts of depression, broke up with the band, used drugs, was prone to anger and anxiety, etc. Barry says he was never the same, again.
