I remember The Bee Gees from when they first came out…..yeah I’m old…..like the early stuff…..not the disco stuff……love the later stuff….didn’t appreciate how great they were until recently…..I now have more than one Bee Gees playlist on my Spotify….thanks for your reactions ……

We like exactly the same part 'Dooooown Down the Road Up the Road', those harmonies, my Gosh!!! That sound in the middle, as you said, is strange, I have always thought Rob held his nose while singing that bit 😁

I love the lp Mr Natural. 💛 "Throw a Penny" and "Down the Road" are awesome songs. Love the harmonies: love the unique interludes; and the tempo of "Down the Road."

It is a perfect segue from the calm Throw a Penny into the uptempo Down The Road. It took me a while to get into Throw a Penny but I love it now. I have to admit that I love the Robin part but it is a strange break. I think the type of piano being used in this song is a Fender Rhodes piano. Just perfect. I love the different types of electric pianos used in the 70s. It made for some great sounds in that era. Dogs is one of my favorite tracks from that album. Great reaction as always!

Dogs is a fantastic song. I played it for my 23 year old nephew and he was like “Who is this?!”, when I told him it was the Bee Gees he thought I was lying. He’s now a fan.

I was listening to this combo earlier today, but that didn't stop me from listening again. Down the Road is on my workout playlist, but I like to listen to the combo cause I love the transition. Thanks for the great reaction!

I like the chorus and the sentiment of Throw a Penny but I absolutely love Down The Road. Barry's rougher attitude comes through - the Alpha male thing.

I've never really been into either of these songs, though, I think, I'm starting get into them. Yeah, I've always thought the change in the music in “Throw a Penny” was really weird; I mean, Robin sounds absolutely amazing singing that part, but it just seems like a weird shift in the song. I love their harmonies when they sing “Down the road, up the road” too! I think it's really interesting that they're the only two Gibb songs that go together like one song, unless there are some unreleased songs I haven't heard that do.
