Beech 18 Plane Supported with the Red Crane Cat Sept 27 2023

we finally got around to supporting the tail on the Beech 18 we stuck up on the green tank shed before the snows arrived. a fellow KZbin Subscriber suggested to use the red crane cat to support the tail and he was correct with it being an easy and simple job. thansk
this is a daily updated channel from the Kingdom in Northern Manitoba Canada where every day is a struggle to survive in the new world we now live in. the life style of recycling and living with no money is what the Kingdom has been all about for the last 27 years. we have been doing it long before it became a cool lifestyle. So, if you're ever out and about....aimlessly wandering.....just meandering around, and you stumble upon this ole yard full of trucks and Cats and machines and flags-o-excercise and defunct old iron relics and a mini hoe and YES!!...an old plane settin' atop an oil tank being supported by a poor little red crane cat, then you've arrived at THE KINGDOM!!!!!! The Staff is good people,but you need to explain the difference between charges by the job for rough jobs, and precision technical jobs by the hour.🥴 And speaking of the Staff, since she has a hole in the floor to throw firewood in, if her rafters will stand it, some sort of pulley system and basket or net to lift firewood up from the basement might be a positive addition. Xena those pallets were a great idea for storing firewood. The green hunting blind looks ready for rabbit hunting season. I have been enjoying your books Joey. I have bought 10 so far. That Beech 18 needs a little more support don't want it crashing down with the weight of the snow.

yes we have to work safe because it is a 3 hour plane ride to the south if the plane can fly due to weather for the good drugs to take the pain away. thansk

Now the Beechcraft can withstand a blizzard. Can you tell us any history of the plane. How you got it and when. It's a neat display. I'm a big fan of neat old stuff too

Those crane cats were really usefull back in the day mite be worth fixing. those gas td6 motors were ok it was the ones that you start on gas and switch to diesel that sucked we used to start one and use it to push start all the others.

yes we will be fixing the red crane cat because i have owned it since 1987. the diesel motors are pricey to fix and will find the parts someday. thansk

We have enough load straps for B train flatdeck trailers hauling lumber to BC and back. My art studio and storage area is a porch built on bridge timbers, Use what you have. The door frame shifts with the seasons. I want to seal the door with the straps. Can you suggest how I could attach the straps to a steel clad door?

we have used self tapping screws with a small per-hole drilled first. remember not to paint the strapping or it gets to ridged plus use the softest straps too thansk

Xena, leg injuries are very debilitating because you have to walk around on them while they are healing. Joey if have a small engine or electric motor you could power up the crane instead of using a ratchet. Good work thanks see ya tomorrow.

yes the staff being independent and getting things done means she gets hurt a few times. it would be best to just fix the motor in the red crane cat and then it can be used around the yard. thansk

King Joey if you rescue a helicopter you can put on another tank shed would be easier to send what I want send to you just send to sir Rodney when he has a load going your way would that be cheaper great to see the red crane cat moving

Keep picking them up and putting them down. I truly hate people "losing" stuff. I hate babysitting them to get a job done. They see my number and quit answering the phone. They could just do the job. They might take 6 months to do a two day job, they want the job paid for instantly.
