So….here we are. Finally time to start laying some track for the Goods yard! I’ve got all the track I need to create the basic design so no holding back now.
I know this could be an expensive project with all the buildings and additions needed so I might not get everything done as quickly as I would like but I can certainly get the track down and wired in. I guess then we’ll take it from there and see how far I can get.
I have ordered some low relief buildings which I’m looking forward to arriving - not used this style before but they do look good (well, I think so!). Hopefully I’ll be able to show these next week.
As always, Thanks for watching.

Very successful first trial I would say. Can't beat a busy goods yard. It looks great.

@@Grandadstrainroom-pn3tt Your back scene screams agriculture so could I offer a suggestion of a creamery with milk vans and milk tankers in the sidings or maybe a few cattle pens with cattle wagons in the sidings.

Thanks. I did think about a cattle pen. Not considered a creamery/dairy but that could be interesting! 👍

Hi Andy Fantastic job buddy. Love the way you did the track plan. Points working brilliantly. You have done the same as myself with the point switches, toggle switches work well for me. Great vlog buddy. ....Pete....

Cheers Pete. I like the toggle switches. Nice and simple - and that 8 bank of switches doesn’t need any soldering so a bonus!! Take care mate.

Yeah my nearest model shop is 40 miles away so order most of my stuff of Amazon. Even if i pay over the odds still cheaper than the fuel to go to the shop.

Enjoyed that Andy as a fellow grandad (72) I need videos like this to keep me going at the hobby. all my boards are fixed down so you can imagine the problems with wiring on my back! BTW what point motors are you using?
