Hi! Today I have a polish recipe for beef goulash for you, which is really tasty, and the pieces of meat are soft and melt in your mouth! A simple recipe for dinner for the whole family :D
Beef goulash is very simple to prepare and really filling. In this video I make goulash from beef shoulder, but beef neck or beef strip can also be used in goulash.
Ingredients for beef goulash:
approx. 1 kg of beef (e.g. neck, shoulder, beef strip)
2 tablespoons of wheat flour for dusting
2.5 glasses of water
2 medium onions
5 champignons
2 cloves of garlic
1 large carrot
1 pepper (sweet)
1 tablespoon of flour + a little cold water to thicken the stew
Spices:
2 teaspoons of ground sweet pepper
a pinch of ground hot pepper
1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
5 bay leaves
6 grains of allspice
salt to taste
Additionally:
Lard or oil for frying
This recipe makes approximately 2 liters of beef goulash. Peppers and mushrooms can be omitted, but in my opinion they add a very nice flavor to the goulash :)
Beef goulash can be served with Silesian dumplings or mashed potatoes and salad :)
