+OhGoodness Thank you so much. I'm glad you like the format to our videos. This video took much longer than others to film and edit because of all of the prep work, but receiving awesome comments like yours really makes that little extra work worthwhile!!! New Jersey, thats awesome, I recently saw a Casey Neistat video when he went there for a day trip with his family. Would love to go there one day. Greetings from rainy London 😕

@CookingwithChefDai
@CookingwithChefDai 8 жыл бұрын
+Fannia Haryani to be honest, if you leave it out of this recipe and use worcestershire sauce instead, it will still taste great. Even some BBQ sauce. I always think, "no rules in cooking", use whats available to you. Hope that helps Fannia. BTW, I should've just used a turner to turn over the beef, but didn't have one at home ☺️

Hi, what should I use if I can't find tonkatsu sauce ? Is there a simple tonkatsu sauce recipe home made style ?
@CookingwithChefDai
@CookingwithChefDai 8 жыл бұрын
+Chérie Tanzil Hi Cherie, I almost always use store bought "bulldog" tonkatsu sauce, as I believe most Japanese at home do too. But if you cannot get your hands on a bottle or If you just want to make it at home, its simple.... Worcestershire sauce x 3 tsp tomato ketchup x 4 Tbsp mirin x 3 tsp dark soy sauce x 3 tsp Japanese rice vinegar x 3 tsp English mustard x 2 tsp sugar x 2 1/2 tsp grated garlic x 1/5 tsp mix in a bowl, then its ready to use. Hope that helps. Dai
