Morcon is a popular Filipino dish commonly served on holidays and special occasions. Like its European counterpart, this Filipino-style roulade consists of a slice of beef rolled around choice fillings such as cheese, eggs, carrots, pickles, bacon and sausages, and then cooked by braising method.
Beef Morcon Ingredients:
2 1/2kilos. Beef, Pige ng baka
1cup. Lemon Juice
1cup. Soy Sauce
1/4kilos. Pork Fat
1/4kilos. Pork Liver
1head. Garlic
4pcs. Red Onion
2pcs. Red Bell Pepper
1box. Cheese
2pcs. Longganisang Macau
2pcs. Pickles
2pcs. Beef Cubes
5pcs. Boiled Egg
halfbox. Butter
5pcs. Hotdog
400grams. Tomato Sauce
200grams. banana Ketchup
4pcs. Bay Leaves (Laurel)
1tbsp. Whole black pepper
90grams. Tomato Paste
3tbsp. Fish Sauce
Water (Should be equal to the level of the beef)
