Having this 10 minute hard limit is weird. 9:59 - not a single mid ad roll 10:00 - as many mid ad rolls you want, one every 15th second? KZbin could solve this issue by allowing one mid ad roll for every minute the video is long. No more stretching videos to 10 minutes. It also don't force people to put an ad every minute, but it also limits people from using more than x amounts of ads for x long video.

For the peach and daisy up-b, it’s actually a nerf because you can’t really parasol jank people so easily. And for the villager, nobody uses the up-smash on buried opponents to begin with. Villagers will use the bowling ball instead and kill fighters at 60% if the opponent is buried.

Depends on the map... Remember there are map with WALLS that people can tech off of or positions that are closer to the top where launching up is more favorable. Saying "Nobody uses it" is a poor argument and the equivalent of saying "Villagers mains are stupid and unable to adapt to other stages."

patch 6.0: Fox's shine is now frame one and is jump cancelable. Bayo can now 0-death, meta knight gets his up B from brawl and can glide, Marth's grab is as long as it is in melee. Falco's shine sends you up, IC can wobble, Diddy gets his ho ha back, cloud nair is twice as long as it was in smash4, tripping is added, snake's u-tilt can reach across the stage like it did in brawl, and Jack Black is added as DLC.

Not really much was changed in this patch, I don't know if it's just me... but it felt early didn't it? Banjo was set to come out in fall, but really it's the end of summer, not only that but Hero came out just over a month ago, and Joker came out about 2 months before him... it seems like they just focused on the new content as opposed to balances this patch, I'm hoping that means there's a bit of a longer wait til the next character so we can get a good balance patch in! Want to see some Cloud, K Rool, and Bowser Jr buffs!

This patch was great, sans, banjo and bug fixes, but i'm sad that homerun contest is the last mode. I would've taken break the targets over HRC, but it's still very cool. I got to 200 damage (and like 400km or something I forget) but by spamming pk fire and swinging the bat at the end.

Magic Burst is a bit different. I’ve used it and had it not hit opponents with the final hit, and thus not launch them. It might be a wanky new hitbox, or maybe it’s possible to DI out of the final attacl somehow. Regardless, it’s not as useful as it was before

I'm a Hero main, and I could go both ways with that being a thing, but ULTIMATELY, 😂 it would be best if it stayed without, for balancing. The Ice Climbers buff is actually quite surprising. This seems like only the kind of tech top players would be using, so it indicates Nintendo might be paying attention to tech that pros can use, and aren't just watching Elite Smash. I would have loved to see a Master Hand mode, where one player is like a raid-boss controlling the hand versus other players. Would be so unbalanced, but I think I need it in my life.

@Pikachuisloveandlife Except you still can't have a player use Master Hand against the other players, so that doesn't meet the criteria of what I was actually talking about.

@Pikachuisloveandlife You can play as Master Hand for a level in Adventure toward the end, so they technically programmed it into the game already. That's the main reason I mentioned it, since it wouldn't be too difficult to create a new mode based on that.

I have two possible reasons why the balances in this patch were so small: 1) There will be another patch, similar to 3.1.0 2) The Sma5h balancing team have reached a point where they feel like most characters are relatively balanced and are afraid of touching any of the characters too much. This unfortunately would mean no more balance changes except rare, minor ones.
