David you missed your true calling - Biology educator. GREAT Video! This past I did a hive inspection and I was very surprised to find 3 supers full with 90+% capped honey and plenty of resources in the deeps. My bees are still bringing in lots of pollen on their bodies. I spent today extracting honey using my 4 frames hand crank separator - GREAT WORKOUT! Should I put the extracted frames back on the hives. HAVE A GREAT EVENING AND WEEKEND 👍

I like using my smoker also but I did change things I do use the burlap but I used a paper towel holders cardboard cylinder I’ll fill it with Pineneedles and burlap and it seems to last a lot longer because it’s in a cylinder works great for me Charlie PA thanks for the green chair on my Friday love it

1:29 my bees went through a whole half gallon of your recipe in 2 days! And they’re still bringing in pollen from somewhere. It’s a huge hive but still. Crazy.

Minute 10:00 (smoker vs vaporizor) i cant remember who suggested it but i thought it was the tiny bits of ash from the smoker that made it work, vaporizers dont make ash.

David i asked the University of Nebraska Bee Lab why my queens stopped laying they told me that in the winter bees stop laying but most beekeepers never see it because it normally happens in the winter. but some times they stop laying earlier. So my bees should be fine.

Hi! I have a 1 gallon bucket feeder that has a screen on the entrance. Can I add a screen to the board that I fit the feeder on to prevent the bees from coming out of hive? I didn't know if they could feed thru two screens. Thank you!!

I have a question. I have two deeps on each hive. The top deep is so heavy with honey I can hardly pick it up. The bottom deep has like 3 frames of brood and larva. Is 3 frames enough for winter bees. Thank you

Dave last year i had a hive getting week. It was marked green why in the world did these never swarm.
