I've been in Korea for one month now, so let's see how "Koreanized" I have become.

I want to go to Korea so badly. I'm in the process of learning the language first. I couldn't help but giggle a bit when you said "orange-y juice-y" Perhaps that because I've never heard it being pronounced before. Live squid?! Interesting.

Interesting! Most Importantly , not only did you understand Korean culture, also experienced many things. :D I hope you arrive safely at your country after a long trip.

Although not related to Korea, your accent sounds just like my friend from Sweden!

The foreigners being rare is completely untrue. there are MANY foreigners. you should have seen it 10 years ago. you would have been shocked. Samsung Dong has lotsa foreigners now (lots of expats living in the hotels in the area) and hong dae and itaewon are crawling with internationals!

what are you doing there? I was an expat living in the Oakwood premier at the Coex doing work for an international company.

One comment on Konglish. Konglish is not korea-fied English. it's the use of English and Korean together in a way that only a korean american/canadia/english speaker could understand. for instance. you would say something like "I my GOSH it's nuh moo choo wuh to go outside! ..... I'm going to stay inside and juhnyuk mandeuruh"
